My recent visit to Haldirams in Advant IT Park Sector 142, Noida, was a mixed experience, but the overall taste and quality of the food managed to impress me.
Ambiance: Haldirams offered a spacious and clean dining area with a lively atmosphere. The place was bustling with customers, which added to the vibrant ambiance. However, it could get a bit noisy during peak hours, making conversations challenging.
Service: The service was the aspect that left me with mixed feelings. While the staff was polite and courteous, there were some hiccups with the order management. I ordered Malai Gewar, Raj Kachori, and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The wait time for the food was reasonable, but the trouble began when I realized that the staff had messed up the orders.
Food: Starting with the positive aspects, the food at Haldirams was delightful in terms of taste and presentation. The Malai Gewar, a popular North Indian sweet, was the highlight of the meal. It had a perfect balance of sweetness, and the texture was soft and creamy, making it a delightful treat.
The Raj Kachori, a popular street food item, was a burst of flavors with its crispy puris filled with a variety of tangy and spicy chutneys, yogurt, and other delectable ingredients. The dish was satisfying and brought back nostalgic memories of enjoying it on the streets.
The Grilled Cheese Sandwich was well-prepared, with a generous filling of cheese and vegetables, grilled to perfection. It was a comforting and delicious option for those seeking a quick bite.
However, my enthusiasm dampened when I discovered that the staff had taken orders for items that were not available, leading to confusion and disappointment. This issue could have been easily avoided with better communication and awareness of their inventory.
Overall Experience: Despite the order mix-up, the wonderful taste of the dishes and the reasonable pricing somewhat compensated for the inconvenience. Haldirams is undoubtedly a great place to explore various Indian snacks and sweets. However, I would advise the management to improve their order management system to prevent such issues in the future.
If you're visiting Haldirams in Advant IT Park Sector 142, Noida, be sure to try their Malai Gewar and Raj Kachori for a flavorsome treat. Also, don't forget to double-check your orders to avoid any disappointments. With a little refinement in their service, Haldirams could be an even more enjoyable destination for Indian cuisine...
Read moreHaldiram in Noida has degraded it's quality and quantity in food. They are just running a race of opening new outlets but not looking after the quality. I am one of the patron customer who started eating there variety from chandani chowk in 80's then new outlet at mathura road in early 90's and so on. Till few years back they were seen maintaining there quality to the best. And specially vegetarians use to love them for specializing specially in veg food. Now it looks like the owners or the new gen owners are least bothered to maintain the legacy of good quality food and just running the race of money not goodwill of "The Haldiram's". It pains to see the fall of one of the top food brand falling just because of greed. In last two years they have increased number of outlets but failed to maintain good quality food, service quality, hospitality and the entry worst arrogant staff on all new outlets. I still feel there Chandani Chowk, Lajpat Nagar and Mathura Road outels serve best service and hospitality with good food quality with quantity. Few months back also I shared my negative feedback about there Ambala highway outlet about bad behaviour of staff and food quality.

Read moreHaldiram used to be a go to place without any second thought. However this particular outlet is below expectations. Served chilled Chole Bhature. I asked when were these cooked so person at counter said just now. Luckily manager came and touched the dish. He immediately asked him to replace it. This place is very noisy and messy.
I am wondering in few years, the Chole bhature served here will become similar size of Gol Gappe as each year they are reducing size and increasing rates. Chole also they give so less that you feel hesitant to ask again.
They have flat wooden spoons. How can you eat dishes like Sambhar with flat spoon?
Cashier asked sir, anything to drink. We ordered Mango Lassi. My daughter had only Mango Lassi and next day she had upset stomach. I realised later that these are bottled lassi and should be avoided.
Self service is a pain in Haldiram while standing in queues and fighting at counter to collect your order as they don’t give you in order of receiving the receipt. Person serving the food feels that he is distributing it free of cost with tons of attitude.
I wish Haldiram could regain its old charm as...
