I had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s outlet on Tuesday around 1 PM. The restaurant was almost empty, and I was sitting with my laptop after finishing my meal. Despite the place being vacant, a staff member came and told me, “Sir, if you don’t want to order more, please take your laptop elsewhere.”

When I asked if this was an official policy or mentioned anywhere on McDonald’s website, the staff casually replied that they were already being “lenient,” and most restaurants don’t even allow customers to sit for 10 minutes after finishing food. Their justification was that “otherwise from outside it will look full.”

Shockingly, I also saw the same staff say this to 2–3 other customers sitting nearby. This shows it wasn’t an isolated incident but a general practice at this outlet.

This attitude is extremely unprofessional. If the restaurant is empty, customers should not be forced to leave, especially after having purchased food. Such behavior discourages people from choosing McDonald’s as a comfortable place to eat and work for a while.
