Hi Writing this review with a lot of disappointment. Thank you for spoiling a very special occasion for us. It was my parents 25th anniversary that we were planning to celebrate in a 5 star but considering the ambience and vibe i chose Marilyn for a change for my parents, for them to experience something different, got a lesson of why not to celebrate a special day with you guys. When i called for the reservation, the person on the phone was very optimistic about everything and ensured us that everything will go well and smoothly. We entered and saw the table reserved for 9 well in advance but it located in such a small corner almost felt secluded. Secondly, regarding the professional photographer we hired to capture the essence of the special occasion, i wish we had left the moment you guys said that it's not allowed atleast our vidoes and photos would have come out nicely, even after requesting multiple times you guys kept barging in and spoiling the moment, didn't let the photographers use lights and flashlights, we understand it could have been disturbing for other customers but everyone understands the importance of the moment so everyone would have cooperated, on the phone they were optimistic about every requirement we had and agreed to it due to which we chose this place. The staff is very unprofessional, we ordered platters, ideally they should serve the platters as well otherwise how us someone supposed to pass it on to every member on the table when they serve it in a such fancy cage kinda thing. The menu was not kept on the table rather we had to ask for it multiple times, the service was very slow and unprofessional. The owner Chitrapriya i suppose didn't bother to come and address the issue or even talk to us directly instead was sending the manager again and again even after requesting to talk to her. Highly...
Read moreMarilyn cafe & bar is one of the finest additions to the city's dining scene. The 80s classic hollywood inspired decor transports u the moment u step inside with its stunning theme, ambient lighting & nostalgic music setting the perfect mood. The soulful song of Louis Armstrong’s -What a Wonderful World , playing in the background, combined with the lively bar atmosphere, make it a perfect spot for a date. The menu is diverse, offering a wide selection of global cuisines like Mediterranean, Asian, Italian, Mexican & a bit of Indian flavors. We ordered a mocktail which was delicious and beautifully presented. The Burrito Bowl was satisfying with a huge portion size but the star of the night was the Zaatar bread with cream cheese , by far the best I've ever had. Perfectly baked and seasoned. The prices are on the higher side but the experience is absolutely worth it. Highly...
Read moreThis place is a beautiful blend of fine dining and bistro, gives early 1850-1900's vibe. They offer great service and dining experience. Non vegetarians will love this place for its simple ,earthy, hearty meals. I am a vegetarian and for me the food tasted average, maybe a little above that but not the best food that I ever had. Maybe the dishes that I ordered weren't that special but I would suggest everyone to not try the BBQ COTTAGE CHEESE. Not a good dish, did not enjoy it at all, just the potato wedges were nice. To finish that dish was a task for me. Still I would give it another chance and order something else. Their portion size is great 👍🏻 The menu is quite big , would suggest to delete few dishes as they have tried to incorporate a couple of dishes from every cuisine in their menu , which makes the...
