I have visited Sharma chai located in Gomti Nagar and hazratganj area. Both are equally good and almost same taste. But at Gomti Nagar branch they have some extra item in menu like poha, Maggi, paratha, sandwich etc and also have seating capacity. Very crowded usually and one issue I faced in Gomti Nagar of parking. There is no proper parking available for four wheeler. UPI payment accepted here. Most popular combination is khulad waali chai bun makhan and samosa.

As a Mumbaikar, I found the tea just okay, but the samosa was tasty and the bun pav was really good with thick homemade butter. The tea quantity is also ample, which is nice. However, the place was not clean at all the seats were dirty and even the cooking area didn’t look hygienic. Food is fine, but cleanliness really needs improvement.

The worst tea shop I have visited in all of Gomti Nagar. And I say this after 2 visits. The price of the tea was not justified by the poor quality of tea. The person making the tea, if you can call it making, looked like he was working under gunpoint and the samosa that they served looked and tasted like it has been reheated at least twice. And the worst part of my experience, they refused to accept...

I visited this so-called famous tea shop ( SHARMA CHAI), and my experience was very disappointing. The ambiance was extremely poor, the AC was not working at all, and it was very uncomfortable to sit inside. On top of that, the staff and even the manager behaved very rudely. A place with so much name and fame should at least maintain basic hospitality and customer service. Definitely not...
