Being a local I have eaten here many a times since it opened and can say that this place has been deteriorating since it opened. If brand Farzi cafe is reading the reviews then they should take timely corrective action unless they want the name to be besmirched. Ambiance - it has great rooftop restaurant and something we all drool upon, the view and the breeze are par excellence. . Staff - The attitude right at the entry reception is hostile when they make you feel that they are doing a favor by giving you a table at rooftop when there are already 3-4 tables available. The servers don't serve you water even after asking twice (we are paying for bottled water isn't it). Wrong billing and making you wait for long for settling the bill is kind of common here. Drinks - at a time my friends and family use to vouch for their Gin and Vodka based cocktails in town, but sadly now the cocktails are just sweetened drinks sans alcohol with light or no tipsy a t all. Food - the quality is deteriorating week by week, their pulled butter chicken use to be so great that every time I use to try that now its just boiled chicken and gravy. The Cesar salad comes loaded with mayonnaise or whatever they are adding making it a less of a a salad but soggy vegetables. Pizzas are thin crust with just cheesy taste with no taste of sauce or dough. Vada Pao are laden with chillis and served cold. Amritsar fish is made with Pangus fish to our surprise and all you can taste in it are thick batter in it with the meat being oily and slimy. Chicken platter comes with as small pieces as u may not imagine. Dehradun has been growing with various popular food restaurants coming up, so serving bad quality food and providing mediocre service are time of the past. Farzi has opened one of the most expensive restaurant in a lovely place yet they are not able to control their staff...
Read moreAfter a lot of search for a good restaurant, we zeroed in on this one based on the Google and Zomato's reviews. Here is the summary of my experience. Distance- Bit far from the hustle & bustle of the main city (4/5) View & ambience - Very good (5/5) Taste- (4/5) Everything was quite good in taste Starters - Spicy Orange Fire, Mint watermelon Fizz coupled with Papdi chat Nachos (fully loaded), Crispy American Corn (Kadahi Mayo) Main Course- Desi Chowmein, Herb Crusted Paneer Tikka (I liked it most) with Tandoori Rotis Hygiene - (1/5) - Continuously bothered by two types of flies, so it spoiled whole experience Property upkeeping & Atmosphere (2/5). Though ambience was good. However, water was trickling from the false ceiling and AC was running intermittently (we were seated on the third floor and heard it was due to frequent electricity cut offs) and we had to change the seats for cooler temperature but were not so lucky. Conclusion-If you are a hygiene person, can look for alternatives. Will I visit again- No, will certainly avoid such place which can't even offer a basic hygienic environment. Should you visit- If you aren't so conscious about hygiene and obsessed with outside views, can visit this place as it offers good surroundings and...

Located at the popular Pacific Mall, the ambiance is chic, contemporary, and perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. The dim lighting, stylish décor, and upbeat music create a lively yet cozy atmosphere.
Coming to the food — Farzi Café lives up to its reputation of combining traditional flavors with modern presentation. We tried their Dal Chawal Arancini, Chicken Tikka Quesadilla, and Tempura Fried Prawns — each dish was beautifully plated and packed with flavor. The fusion of Indian and global styles is bold and fun. Their signature drinks and mocktails are also worth mentioning — creative, refreshing, and Instagram-worthy.
Service was prompt and courteous, with the staff happy to make recommendations. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but given the quality, presentation, and overall experience, it's justified.
Farzi Café is perfect for anyone looking to explore innovative Indian cuisine in a trendy setting. Whether you're out with friends or planning a dinner date, it delivers on both taste and vibe. A must-visit if you're in Dehradun and love culinary...
