Friend's Bar-Be-Que Nation — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

I don't understand how and why this cozy, cute and petite eatery isn't getting more positive reviews. They have recently renovated and become more attractive while retaining their famous taste. One dish that you would find here (and probably nowhere else in mussoorie) is Pahadi Daal Jakhiya. It's the first dish I order when I'm at this eatery and it's just too good. Everything served here, snacks and appetizers to main course and breads is yummy, mostly. There have been times when I have been slightly disappointed but that's because they have set the bar high for themselves. Staff is warm and polite, so is the person on the billing counter. I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant during my recent visit with my family. They were charging prices above the MRP, which is illegal. When I politely questioned this with the staff, I was met with rude behavior and complete mismanagement. The staff misbehaved instead of resolving the issue calmly.

This place is clearly not family-friendly. I strongly advise all families to avoid visiting this restaurant. Basic customer respect and law compliance should be a priority for any business – unfortunately, that is not the case here.

The worst One in Mussoorie, it’s a turn off restaurant with lot of attitude in staff as well as the manager. We order butter chicken but it was like a tamarind sause. Also the chicken tandoori was half cooked. The fried rice was having deep fry feeling of oil. When we asked to change the gravy, thy just gave thr gyan but no exchange neither gave the money back even when we said we don’t want this dish. It’s an absolute no no place in Mussoorie.
