We went because it has 4.9 stars on google reviews. All reviews seems fake after trying the restaurant. Giving 1 star because of the following reasons We waited for almost 40 mins for food We ordered dal makhni and paneer tikka masala with naan and paratha. Both were least to say DISAPPOINTMENT. The paneer tikka masala tatsed just tangy full of tomato, we complained about the same, he said that's how it tastes. Daal didn't even tasted any better. We could only taste boiled daal. Naan was burnt from plenty of places. Asked the food to be served, they said they don't do it and we have to self serve. Didn't turn on the AC even after we told them to Can't do bill payment via card, UPI was there but no merchant payment. It was a direct payment.

We initially wanted to order more naans, but after the disappointing taste decided to leave the place half-empty.

Absolutely disgusting experience at "Rishikesh zaika." The staff here are beyond rude — arrogant, unprofessional, and completely clueless about how to treat customers. The owner? Even worse. Zero manners, full of attitude, and no sense of hospitality whatsoever.

The service is painfully slow, . It felt like we were doing them a favor by being there. Never have I been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant. This place has no business running in the hospitality industry.

One of the best meal we had in this month in India! It is a new place in Rishikesh and the team is young, the cooks are in their 20s! We ordered 2 soups, paneer butter masala and butter bread and we were happy with all of them: balanced flavours and textures, good portions and well presented! They forgot to bring us the water we ordered, but once we asked again it was brought right away! We will make sure to try their tandoori next time, as they said they have a charcoal one! Highly...
