Detailed review below:

Resort: It is definitely not a 3 star property as mentioned on internet, but it's definitely much better than the ratings. The property is huge and very easy to reach. It is very close (walking distance) to Laxman Jhoola, infact it is the most luxurious property near Laxman Jhoola. Rooms are big and with attached balcony with seating. Rooms are smart card enabled, super clean and are centrally air-conditioned. Beds are comfortable with white linen and thick and thin pillows. Toiletries are provided in toilets. It is dived into 2 building both having multiple floors and rooms. Spa, swimming pools, Lawns, kids play areas, re-creation rooms, restaurant and bakery are all in the resort.

Food: Definitely one of the best vegetarian food I had in Rishikesh. Hygienic, tasty and variety of items. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are both buffet and alacarte bases, depending upon the occupancy. They ask you about your tastes and preferences and then customise the food accordingly.

Nearby: It is walking distance from Laxman Jhoola and local shops near it. But the most important part of the property is its secluded and private Ganga Ghat. Yes, it is smartly divided to keep the guests exclusive and magistical river Ganga is seen from the rooms alongwith the hills. Not only you can see the river but hear roaring sounds of water as well. The location is very good as the flow and size of the river is at its maximum in the city.

Hospitality: Staff and services are upto the mark. Even during the lockdown period they maintained high standards of service and catered to the requirements of all guests. Most of the staff is from the city and are very humble and helpful.

Prices: Prices are justified to the view and hospitality provided. Breakfast is inclusive. It is better if you call the property directly for best rates.

Care: The flow of the River is rapid and water levels fluctuate, therefore please be cautious and keep children at a distance. it's set up on the river bank so there are insects and cameleons, and they don't disturb you until you disturb them. The elevator will not take you to the ghat directly. You have get down through stairs or ramp to get to the ghat, swimming pool and lawn and climb up to get back. Senior citizen may face issues in climbing up. Non vegetarian good is not available in Rishikesh so please keep that is consideration.

Overall it is one resort which is a hidden gem in Rishikesh. The kind of location it has is only with few resorts like Taj which are very expensive. It is my third visit to this resort and will definitely return here.

Please see the photos that I have posted to get a fair idea of the resort,...

If you are looking for a mesmerising place near the Ganga...this is your venue... I liked the hospitality and the management. Room service was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good behaviour and atmosphere. Being on the side of national highway.. this is easy to navigate place with wholesome space for parking. Place is quite serene.I loved the little things they've done outside the hotel...very creative and beautiful. The atmosphere and environment is good.

Hotels rooms vary in different prices according to your needs. There's a swimming pool with a mesmerising view of Ganga. We went to pool at dusk and it was the most beautiful experience ever. The sound of trickling water and fas Singh of ram jhula pull with lights was amazing. We could see the river side parts of laxman jhula and it was really beautiful.

They also provide spa. We didn't have much time to enjoy it so not sure about the prices and options. Food was delicious with a vast varieties in oriental, continental and Indian cousines. This Place is quite famous for its pastries. So do try them in your visit.

Also, I've learnt that this hotel fulfills your dream of an amazing river side destination wedding (if you're planning one). But wedding space is a little compact so I've no idea how much public capacity it can hold. You can do pre wedding photoshoots and other things here as well.

The premises holds a different restaurant - Tattva (तत्व), but I'm not sure whether it is part of the hotel or totally independent. The food quality and quantity is good. They too provide different cuisines and desserts. The view is beautiful. Staff is amiable and friendly. And above all, food is delicious.

Nevertheless, good place for your visit. We went there for nightstay and were pleased to find quite environment around us. No noice ..it was really good when you want a peaceful place with beautiful river view. I hope you'll have a blasting experience in here. Great place for your stay.!! Thankyou Divine for your...

Location was great and the room view was AMAZING.

The room itself was nicely decorated. There was a lot of faults, for example as soon as i tried to enter the room the key was not working, i think i had three different keys. The electrical plugs next to bed were not working so they had to send an electrician in to fix it, that was a bit annoying. Food was ok, had the veggie burger once and i had the manchurian and honey potatoes. The potatoes had so much batter and was just way too overcooked. The manchurian was below average, after travelling India for some time and eating various Manchurian dishes this was by far the worst. Left the plates outside for it to be collected. Took a day for it to be taken away.

There was one morning before i was due to fly out where there was works outside my room at like 6AM. Lots of banging and doors shutting. I rang downstairs to tell them to stop as it was so early, they were confused and sent someone to my room which just was an inconvenience.

They organised the rafting which was great and reasonably priced, so would recommend booking through the hotel if you do stay. I booked travel to see the Aarti through them and it was fine, with the same driven I organised a taxi to the airport. In the morning the taxi driver rang me saying the price has changed, it was considerably more. This was right before i was due to fly. So i told them no and called another taxi which was much cheaper. Bit annoying that they pulled a stunt like that just as i was about to fly. It was the reccomended taxi firm from the hotel

For the price I would...

The Divine Resort in Rishikesh is beautifully situated on the Ganges River. I stayed there as part of a Gate1 group tour for 2 nights. Much of Rishikesh is vegetarian and the hotel restaurant and Cafe/Bakery are really good. I wanted something other than Indian food at this last part of my journey and enjoyed a plate of really good eggplant Parmesan at the hotel cafe. One thing to understand about this resort that may present a challenge for some folks is that the amenities of pool and Ganges shore are hard to get to. The resort is built into the elevation so you can take a confuding series of elevators and zigzagging paths/tunnels to get to these things. I'm directionally challenged and, fortunately, the resort has a person placed at the pool and at the gated access to the Ganges to help you navigate your way up and down. The views are breathtaking. Our group benefitted from a yoga session one day and a sound therapy session the morning we left. I enjoyed both (although I don't regularly do yoga). A bustling market is located right along the street near the resort which offered some cool souvenirs. Overall, despite the challenges of locating things at the resort (which could be remedied by some clear signage and directional arrows beyond what they have) I found my stay here very enjoyable. I immersed myself in the Ganges at the place in the photo.. and experience I will treasure.
