Theobroma — Restaurant in Vasai-Virar

I recently ordered a selection of bakery items from Theobroma, hoping to re-live a bit of the French experience after spending nearly two years in France. Sadly, the baguette was very disappointing—it’s nowhere near of how an authentic French baguette is. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine baguette.

The pain au chocolat was okayish but felt slightly overpriced for the quality and taste. The spicy paneer roll and spicy paneer puff were good value for the price, but honestly, that would not be a reason enough to return, there are other bakeries that make better versions of these items.

Overall, this was my first experience (and last time) buying bakery items here. I was specifically looking for an authentic French bakery experience, and this left me quite underwhelmed.

This is regarding review of Theobroma which is newly opened besides Macdonalds in Vasai west.One of staff ladies was quite rude by her gestures,i was asking few questions she was giving attitude to answer.If you not happy with job please leave it, rather than frowning. I had ordered two flavours one choco orange mousse cake with egg which was suppose to be nonveg with red sign on it,but i guess it was veg,and they thought they fooled me by removing the green sticker on it.Whereas other cake which i ordered was Eggless praline mousse cake which had green sticker.So i wonder why there was no sticker on other cake? I had a very bad experience with Theobroma. This was my daughter's first birthday cake, and I had called them to give special instructions, emphasizing the importance of being careful and correctly spelling my daughter's name. Despite these clear instructions, the cake arrived damaged and with the wrong name written on it. This is a pathetic experience. How can a brand cake shop be so careless and write a wrong name on a birthday cake. Messing up the whole birthday celebration.
