Chai Break is a well-known and reputed brand in Kolkata, which is why expectations are naturally high when visiting any of their outlets. I recently visited the Sodepur branch, and while the ambience was quite good and welcoming, there were a few service-related concerns that stood out.

We ordered the 4-topping pesto pizza, but unfortunately, broccoli was unavailable, which limited our topping choices. I also ordered the Brownie Break, which is supposed to be served with whipped cream, but that was completely missed out. Additionally, we tried the Chinese Bhel, but the presentation was below average and lacked the visual appeal you’d typically expect from a brand like Chai Break.

While the overall experience was okay, this outlet definitely needs improvement in terms of attention to detail, ingredient availability, and presentation standards. Hoping to see better coordination and consistency in future visits to keep up with the brand’s otherwise solid reputation.
