Chaknawala — Restaurant in West Bengal

Today, I ordered 3 mutton biryanis from Chakhnawala. Here are some special observations about the restaurant:

Among the mutton biryanis, one had proper meat, but the other two had some unidentifiable pieces of meat. For the first time, I saw bright red mutton.

The two pieces of meat were tougher than rubber, making it impossible for an average person to tear them apart. There was also a foul smell coming from those pieces—definitely stale or 3-4 days old. Who knows if it was even mutton? God knows. To tear that meat, one would need 2-3 years of gym training.

I had ordered from here before, getting 3 chicken biryanis. Two of them had chicken, while the third was just alu biryani. Calling them didn't help either, as no one even bothered to pick up the phone.

If you're running a restaurant, do it properly. Otherwise, just declare that you can't serve mutton, and we won't order anymore. How long will you run a business by serving stale or spoiled meat? Even the Zomato delivery person who came to deliver my food remarked, "Brother, the restaurant staff made this in a rush; otherwise, they were just loafing around." By the way, my order took more than an hour to arrive, even though the restaurant is just 10 minutes away by bike from my house.

It would be good if I could get a refund for the two mutton biryanis. But expecting that from people who sell stale or spoiled meat is probably asking...
