I recently visited Legendz Café Terrace, located on the 6th floor right above Mother’s Wax Museum in New Town, Kolkata. It's a cozy rooftop café with a laid-back atmosphere and a beautiful panoramic view of Eco Park and the surrounding cityscape.

🌇 Ambience & View (5/5)

The ambience is definitely the highlight here. The open-air terrace lets you enjoy the fresh breeze, clear skyline, and green landscapes. If you’re lucky and the weather is good, the view is absolutely stunning, especially around sunset. It’s peaceful, quiet (not too many people were around when I went), and perfect for relaxing with friends or even alone with a book or some music.

There’s a direct view of Eco Park and even the miniature Eiffel Tower in the distance. If you're into photography or just want some Instagram-worthy clicks, this is a great spot.

🍴 Food & Drinks (3.5/5)

Now coming to the food, the experience was average overall.

Momos: I tried their steamed momos, and they were quite good. Hot, fresh, and flavorful with a nice spicy chutney on the side. Definitely one of the better items on their menu.

Pizza: Unfortunately, the pizza was not good. The crust was too hard, almost like it had been overcooked or reheated. For a café with such a great setup, I expected better. This is something they really need to improve.

The staff were polite and responsive. Since the place wasn’t too crowded, service was quick. They were courteous and willing to explain the menu items.

If you're visiting Mother’s Wax Museum or Eco Park, Legendz Café Terrace is a great spot to relax and enjoy the view with some light snacks. The momos are worth trying, and the peaceful rooftop setting is a rare find in the city.

I’d recommend it for the ambience and budget pricing, but hope the food quality—especially the continental items—gets better with time.

Would visit again for the view and vibe, but probably stick to snacks and tea/coffee next...

Been there 5 times, the first 2 times the experience was amazing. But since the 3rd time the lady at the reception had been making the visits unbearable. Now we have decided to never go there. She's very ill mannered and behaves rudely with customers. Also the quality of the already overpriced food has deteriorated tremendously. We go there just for the ambience and view, but the receptionist lady makes things torturous.

1-the lady charged 5% extra service tax and argued a lot for waiving it off and didn't give the revised bill.

2-the lady kept quarrelling for a good 5 mins about "self service" when we asked for plates and spoon/fork for our pizza.

3- the lady kept behaving rude about paying the bill in advance when we ordered an extra mocktail. Had to leave food and go for billing it in the middle of dinner.

4- the lady kept fighting verbally with the next table as well when they asked to change their table.

The staff who made the mocktail was very well mannered and apologized on her behalf, so kudos to him. That's how people should be trained in the hospitality industry. The waiter was new and inexperienced hence didn't plate the table, so we can forgive his mistake. But the lady at the counter should be immidiately fired. Otherwise your resturant will lose all repeat customers like us who have been there 5-6 times since...
