Indian Coffee House — Restaurant in Zone 10 Kodambakkam

The place is easily visible from main road.... It is just opposite to the bua stand of t nagar.... It is one of the oldest hotel in t nagar.... Nd is very famous also.... Its very very hygienic that is why its always full.... Specially during 8 to 10.... Nd 12 to 3 and in night also...... They offer all type of rice like sambar rice , brinji rice, curd rice , veg briyani, veg fried rice amd lota more.... Also it offers all type of dosa like masala, plain and ghee roast type and all type of uttapams also...... U can also get vada, cutlet, samosa etc in the tea time...... Coffee and tea nd milk is always available in the shop.... They also offer meals thali....meals get over soon as many people have that plus meals get packed in large amount nd goes to many people working in shops around t nagar...... Also for the price its very very minimum...... They also have option of fresh juice which again is available all the time.... If you want to have good hygienic food after a long day of shopping in t nagar... I think this will be a great option.... So do try this restaurant.... The hotel ambience is poorly maintained. Workers have no motivation to give proper service. They serve u lukewarm coffee. After 8 pm the parotta kuruma is invariably stale (twice experienced).

I am sad to see the way this place is mismanaged considering the way the same hotels are run in kerala. This despite being in the best location possible.

The workers aren't motivated to do proper service (starting from kitchen, to servers to cash counter) because theirs is more like a pseudo government entity. Job...

This place is surely going to transport you back to the 60's where you get to experience the traditional chennai coffee and with a bit of modern twist by lemon tea. Haven't tried the food here but i can say the meals here are a hit where everyone is ordering it. The guy at the counter seems strict but is quite a nice guy who let us sit and wait out the rain and catch...
