Bhai Kadai — Restaurant in Zone 12 Alandur

I have traveled this side at-least once a week for many years haven’t known this outlet until recently a FB reel showed up,

I decided to call them before going, the person (Kishore) gave me a heads up on his menu after hearing my side of how I reached out to them.

Since a holiday took my family thinking we will eat there, reaching the hotel was shocked to know the whole dinning area was full & orders flying out as takeaway. The aroma around was nice and decided to meet Mr. Kishore the very first question of mine he immediately recognised n asked were u the caller and with patience he told what was their dishes and knowing our requirements we placed order for Tandoori Chk, BBQ Chk, Dosa, Parotta, Chk fried rice and a sample of egg kothu parotta (yet to be tasted)

I must say food was excellent we never felt loaded, went very well without being stuffed, it was tasty.

Must try place and you will surely go bk again n again just like me, have pinned this place for my regular eats till I taste their best of their menu left untried now.

Kishore n team continue to give us and the ppl of Chennai with same taste consistently. You guys...

One of the worst experience. Price is like Everest but taste is not even equal to little mount. If the hotel has a/c or good atmosphere. We can accept the High price range but it's tent in terrace and running hotel.each food price is not worth for the hotel. Hotel atmosphere and ambience are totally worst. I never refer to anyone to have the food here. If anyone wants to have food in street hotel then you can go here. But don't expect that it's restaurant. At least other hotel also have proper seating and other dining but here we can't not even think it's hotel.

Chicken noodles 240 rs is not worth for money.

Hotel don't have a/c but why they collect this much price ?

Butter Nan 70 rs and small pieces

Chilly parotta 180 rs

Those price are ok but what taste ? and what about hotel ambience and atmosphere ? What about A/c ? Have you cleaned dining table properly before having food ?

Is Hotel floor cleaned properly ?

Nothing is good but price is like Himalayas.

Simple waste.

Pls check the comments all are mentioning that price is high but have you taken any action on price...

Any eatery we visit, be it a local roadside one or a fancy restaurant in a posh 5-Star hotel, the first thing we would consciously or even unconsciously expect is for the place to be neat and tidy, spic and span. Bhai Kadai serves good food at really affordable rates, but needs to up their game on cleanliness.

Of course, one can't do much about the general upkeep of the road that the restaurant is situated in, but at least the immediate few feet of surroundings, disposing of food waste, etc should certainly be done in a clean and tidy manner.

Reminds me of the Tamil proverb, "Agathin azhagu mugathil theriyum.". Means, the beauty of your mind is visible on your face. I believe the same is true for the reverse logic, " Beauty of face reflects...
