Disrespectful and Unethical service by Manager Jaganath (with Photo proof)
First things first. Tea and snacks here taste good. I have visited this place around 6 times in the last 2 months and never had an issue with the food, the quantity or the staff until our last visit.
Like always, we went to have tea and Garlic Bread over here and ordered an Adrak Chai pot for 4. We got the order and the server just got 2 glasses instead of 4 and only one Parle-G biscuit (they usually give 2 biscuit packets for any pot for 4 chai and 1 packet with any pot for 2).
We immediately asked the so called manager(named Jaganath) if this is pot for 4 or just 2. He immediately said it's a pot for 2 and I said we ordered for pot for 4.
He then, just for the sake of defending, opened the pot and argued it is for 4, despite the quantity being less than half the pot. I then asked him why did you give us just 2 glasses and only 1 biscuit packet if it's for 4? He then got 2 more glasses and asked us to complain only if it does not fill 4 glasses and said he'll get another biscuit packet. Meanwhile, we poured the tea in each of the 4 glasses and it didn't even fill 3 glasses completely. I asked the same manager why is this not filling even 3 glasses when it's a pot for 4? He then said we are not supposed to fill full glass and they measure it only with 4x half glasses. I then got furious and asked him to call someone higher to him as this wasn't the case with the quantity during any of our previous visits. He refused to connect me to anybody else and said he is the only Manager and complain wherever your want to, which was unprofessional at the least.
I then asked him where is the other biscuit packet? He said we serve only one packet regardless of whether it's a pot for 2 or a pot for 4 order. I then asked why the hell he said he'll get another packet initially and I then had a pic that we took from our previous visit and proved that we got 2 packets with pot for 4. He then went to the extent of saying that the pic(attached with the review) which I showed was not his shop, though the branding of Chai Galli, the backdrop with movie posters and everything were so evident.
Then, to our rescue, another Manager (Subash, I guess) who just heard Jaganath's stupid argument, and whom we have interacted with during our previous visits with positive feedback, entered into the scene and said it's their mistake and agreed that the photo was indeed that of their shop's. He also agreed to offer us another pot for 2 chai and a biscuit packet which we immediately refused and paid the bill for pot for 4. I requested him to help me connect with the management. He then said he will have his MD, Mr. Harsh, contact me as soon as possible.
Manager Jaganath, had also created an issue with another customer who was sitting on the table next to ours. They ordered for 2x pot for 2 and received very less quantity chai. On asking Jaganath to get the other pot they were supposed to get, he argued saying they cannot serve 2x pot for 2 and hence they served 1x pot for 4. Nobody understood how on earth that makes any sense! Those customers were as furious as I was to fight that the quantity was not sufficient and got their other pot.
I'm still waiting for a call from Mr. Harsh.
Beware of getting misled by some arrogant, unprofessional, unethical and disrespectful Manager like Jaganath, when you...

Panini - Italian bread sandwich with tomatoes, lettuce, and nachos by the side; Crunchy & wholesome to begin with; Nachos and mayo were typical though 🤗 Paneer Bhurji - Chopped paneer tossed in Indian masala, cooked in desi style with packed spices, ain't spicy yet enjoyable 🫠 Masala/Rajasthan/Adrak chai with pakora - All chai was served with a pack of Parle-G; Masala was soothing enough for the throat while Rajasthani was kicky and on the sweeter end with saffron. 😘 Adrak (Ginger) chai was strong and went very well with the hot and crispy pakora. Perfectly bite-sized pakora with chilies and mint dip, TOO GOOD 🥰 Salted caramel hot chocolate - Exquisite taste with both sweet and salt hitting along every sip; thick hot chocolate with mild saltness to go very well with, WOW!!! 😍😍
Service was decent enough with good and unique seating space all across. The ambiance was quirky while the restroom was ridiculous in space (Yet no scarcity for innovation even in the washroom area). Off-street parking shouldn't be a problem while the price too...
