Exceptional Stay in Chennai – Perfect for RTR Exam Candidates and Solo Travelers!
I recently stayed in Chennai for my RTR (Radio Telephony Restricted) exam and had a fantastic experience at this property. The room provided was fully air-conditioned and entirely private, which made it perfect for relaxation and focused exam preparation.
The cleanliness and maintenance of the room were truly commendable. The bed was comfortable, linens were fresh, and the bathroom was spotless. Every detail showed that the place is well taken care of.
One of the standout aspects of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Mr. Babu, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout. From the moment I arrived, Mr. Babu was always available with a warm smile and a helpful attitude. Whether it was a request for room service, guidance about local amenities, or simply checking in to make sure everything was okay, he was consistently attentive and professional.
What truly impressed me was the 24/7 availability of the service staff. Even late at night or early in the morning, someone was always around to assist, which gave me great peace of mind—especially since I was in town for my RTR exam and needed a quiet, well-supported environment.
Mr. Babu in particular made the experience smooth and welcoming, showing genuine care and hospitality. His dedication is a true asset to the property, and I sincerely appreciate everything he did to make my stay so comfortable.
For bachelors or solo travelers coming to Chennai—especially for professional exams or work—this place is an ideal choice. It offers a peaceful and hygienic environment with great value for money.
I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the city alone. It was a stress-free and comfortable experience from check-in...
Read moreI won't recommend one to stay here if there are other hotels available. We booked the hotel in a hurry and had to stay there as we paid for 3 days, upfront! While checking in, we were allotted an AC Room, even though we book non-AC, as there was no non-AC room available. We agreed. But after two days, the manager called me and said I have to pay extra for AC Room! We didn't use AC - we do not book AC rooms as we do not feel comfortable. Ridiculous, but I was left with no other option. They were very rude while talking. I had to give in to their demands. The TV didn't work for the full first day. First day, they said I can call up if anything needed and when I said there's no phone in the room, they were like - the reception is nearby, you can walk up to us! The staff never came even after multiple calls. When they came, they were so sad and unenthusiastic to help you as anyone can be! Anyways, lot of problems to talk about. The lift is 3000 years old and does not operate properly. We just used it twice - while getting in and while going out. There is NO PARKING! You have to park the vehicle on the road, which is very dangerous with the kind of traffic and driving culture that Chennai has. Wifi was given to us later in Day 1, but the speed is as slow as it can be. Horrible!||||Only reason that they are getting a star rating extra is the location of the hotel. It is about 1.5 KM from beach. You can walk. There's a bus stand right infront to take you anywhere. The Metro Rail Station is also very near, about 2 KM. There are lot of hotels nearby for food. Apart from this, there's actually nothing to praise.||||Book this if you have no other...

My mom says (erukara varikum erundutu poganum)
I say ( well we came to the place and there is like 10 steps but its okay and there was a small lift but it was locked we came in early morning 5or6ish and the watchman informed the people at top (room boys or the receptionist or manager i dono and oh receptionist is the bad part) and then there was a telephone near the lift and it rang i told my mom to pickup but watchman came faster and he told the receptionist to open the lift door and the call ended then it rang again again watchman talked call ended i made a joke that if the lift door dosent open ina rate 1 star and guess what it didn't and then 3rd call i think then lift opened
Now thats not the big problem Its when we met my moms sister vs the receptionist lol so the argument was why wasnt the door open and the receptionist said why didn't you guys called in a rude manner ofcourse by the way the rooms were all booked the day before and they probably know people are coming to their room in early morning
And still there is some confusion before we are 3 family and 3 rooms been booked 1 is a non ac and the receptionist didn't explain clearly and didn't show the rooms clearly
And 1 fault is also in my other family who came before us and they took the rooms without considering us and my family
So thats it...
