I am writing this review after several attempts to resolve my concerns directly with KFC customer service, but with no success. I had an extremely disappointing experience during my visit to the Beasnt Nagar KFC store on August 3rd and I have yet to receive a proper response or resolution.
Here’s a summary of the issues I faced:
Long Waiting Time and Lack of Cleanliness:
• I ordered via the mobile app due to long queues, yet despite this convenience, the table was not cleaned when I received my food. Even after informing the staff, it took over 13 minutes for someone to attend to the unclean table, by which time my food had become cold.
Poor Facility Management:
• The air conditioning was non-functional, making the restaurant environment unbearable. • The restrooms were unclean, and the hand-washing facilities were in a deplorable condition, violating basic hygiene standards.
Food Quality:
• The food quality was far below KFC standards, making the meal unpalatable. Additionally, my combo meal, which was supposed to include two types of dip, only came with two of the same dip, without any explanation.
Feedback Solicitation:
• A staff member solicited a 5-star rating on Google immediately after I received my food, even attempting to post the rating themselves on my mobile, which is unprofessional and undermines genuine customer feedback.
Despite reaching out to customer service the same day via email with detailed descriptions and photos, including the poor conditions and service, I have received no proper follow-up other than a vague response that someone would contact me. It’s been over a month with no further action.

I recently went to Besant nagar KFC, Chennai, order no. 918 and there is something that I felt very weird and uncomfortable about. It was a busy outlet, but something that was not expected happened. It toke approx 20 mins for the order to be prepared and when I cross checked on the same they seemed very confused as if such an order existed or not. Tables were available but pilled with trays and clearence, AC vents leaking everywhere, store very unhygienically maintained.
We got our order and the thing happened. A lady staff on floor approaches me regarding a Google review for the store. The initial question was “sir your phone please open Google chrome app for putting review”. I said you can tell me where to put it I will have it posted; but no, she insisted that she will have the link opened for me. I gave her the phone and could see what she was doing. She opened a link on Google which was a KFC review portal and I assumed she will ask me to post there, but what happened next was very weird, the lady was herself ticking all options as ‘very satisfied’ and was even tying other reviews without my consent. I immediately stopped and questioned her, she gave a weird smile and gave me the phone back. I got very upset about the same and looked for a floor supervisor, but unfortunately there were lot of people waiting for their order and I could see the supervisor himself dispensing the orders.
What happened here is very much unexpected from a reputable people favourite brand like KFC. No complaints on the food though, as it was finger licking as always. KFC needs to train their staffs on how to properly get things done on work. I hope a top management who sees this review will...
Read moreWe as family are really big fans of KFC. But for past couple of months the experience is becoming really worst day by day . We used to go to KFC besant nagar once in two month's and i would strongly say it "Thee Worst place" i would have visited. Yesterday we went and they didn't had there system working, no gpay, no card swiping. We had to walk till besant nagar church to withdraw money as they were receiving cash only. Many walked to withdraw, fee lest and went to other restaurants.
The quality of rice bowl was thee worst that i ever had in my life. We had to give that to dogs to eat when we came out.
The place doesnt have security also outside the restaurant because of which kids who are begging outside came inside the restaurant and started asking for food. This is for the third time iam seeing . Hygeine wise the worst place and unhygienic place. While we were there we saw parents washing the potty of the child in the wash basin where we go and wash our hands.
I personally would say this is thee worst and unhygienic place of KFC i would have seen or visited. Here after myle and few of my friend's as families has decided...
