A lovely family outing with a dear friend at Pind, Velachery! Had the pleasure of hosting a dear friend and his family for dinner. Since they're vegetarian during the month of Purattasi, i chose Pind as our destination for the evening! It's amazing to see a place maintain their standards over the years. Before I go into the food, I'll have to mention about Mr. Raju Sharma who waited on our table. He was very courteous, and proactive too! He certainly elevated our dining experience a few notches higher. People like him are an asset to the team! We ordered a few starters.. 👉Tandoori Khazana, an elaborate platter 👉Tiranga Paneer 👉Pani Puri x2 👉Sev Puri x2 Something to drink.. 👉Blue Lagoon 👉Jaljeera Pani 👉Fresh Lime Soda 👉Mango Lassi 👉Spiced buttermilk aka Punjabi Masala Beer x2 😅 For the main course.. 👉Garlic Naan x3 👉Butter Naan x2 👉Malai Kofta 👉Mushroom Masala Desserts.. 👉Paan Kulfi 👉Kesari Badam Kulfi Sev Puri was perhaps the only okayish item among all that we ordered. Felt we should have ordered Dahi Puri instead. Rest was all great! Paneer, was just fantastic! Both the gravies were wonderful with the Breads, and kulfi for dessert was very good too! Paid 4.6K in all, overall, a fantastic time with families with lots of fun and laughter! Certainly one of the places I'll recommend for good vegetarian Punjabi food.

Unbelievable Experience with Light & High-Quality Flavors! Me and my wife visited this place, and the food was absolutely semma! 😍 Everything we had was not only high in quality but also light on the palate, making it the perfect balance of flavors and freshness. We started with the Lemon Coriander Soup, which was so refreshing and had a delicate tang that was just right—light but packed with flavor. The Hara Bhara Kebab and Paneer Tikka were both fantastic! The kebabs were crispy yet soft and full of flavor, while the paneer was perfectly grilled—tender, juicy, and not too heavy. Dahi Puri had the right balance of spice and tanginess, without being overwhelming, making it feel light and zesty. For the main course, the Veg Kolhapuri had amazing taste with just the right amount of heat—flavorful but not too spicy or heavy. The Romali Roti and Chilli Cheese Naan were soft, airy, and complemented the dishes beautifully without weighing you down. We finished off with Mango Lassi, which was thick yet smooth, perfectly sweet, and light in texture. 🍹 Everything about this meal was delightful—top-notch quality with flavors that didn’t overpower but instead danced on the palate. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for an amazing meal that’s flavorful yet light and easy to enjoy! 👏

I have visited Pind Restaurant many times over the past few years, and it has always been a favorite for Punjabi cuisine. However, I noticed a decline in the taste and quality of the food in the last couple of years. The dishes used to be bursting with flavor, but they seemed to lack the same depth. The restaurant is often crowded, especially on weekends and during festivals, which led to long waits of 30-40 minutes for a table. At times, the high volume of customers resulted in rushed cooking, with some dishes being overly salty. The cozy space was beautifully decorated in traditional Punjabi style, but the lighting could feel dull and dark. Recently, I’ve come across reviews mentioning that Pind has made significant improvements, both in terms of their menu and the overall ambiance. The restaurant now boasts a more vibrant and inviting atmosphere, which has piqued my interest to visit again. I’m excited to see if the flavors have returned to their former glory, and I look forward to enjoying their wide variety of Punjabi and North Indian vegetarian dishes. It seems like the revitalized Pind Restaurant is ready to impress once more

Ah, let me regale you with my recent gastronomic escapade to Pind Restaurant - the Desi haven of Velachery. If you're a fan of vegetarian North Indian cuisine, my dear readers, this place is an absolute must-visit. Trust me when I say, every item they served was like a symphony of flavors dancing on my taste buds.

Now, before you embark on your culinary adventure, let me share a small word of advice. Pind Restaurant's popularity knows no bounds, and that means you might have to exercise a bit of patience before a table is allocated to you. But fret not, my fellow foodies, the wait is well worth it, for the scrumptious delights that await will make your taste buds do a happy dance.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted not just by the aroma of delectable dishes but also by a lively ambience that's reminiscent of a bustling Indian market. Ah, but let me warn you, my friends, the noise levels in this vibrant establishment can be quite... well, loud. It's a merry cacophony of voices, laughter, and clinking plates, all complemented by the energetic beats of Punjabi music. It's like a party in your mouth and ears, all at the same time!

But fear not, for the joy of the culinary journey will surely drown out the noise. From the creamy and rich Paneer Butter Masala to the soul-satisfying Dal Makhani, each dish will leave you wanting more. Oh, and let's not forget the buttery naans that come straight from the tandoor, perfectly complementing every bite of the delectable curries.

And for those with a penchant for spicy treats, the aromatic Chole Bhature will have you reaching for your glass of water and grinning with delight. Oh, how I relished every bite, despite my nose turning as red as a ripe tomato!

In conclusion, if you find yourself in Velachery with a hankering for North Indian vegetarian delights, Pind Restaurant is the place to be. Just remember to arm yourself with a little patience, for the tables fill up fast, and you might have to embrace the vivacious ambiance with all its noise and Punjabi beats. But hey, when the food is this good, you won't mind the party in your ears. So, gather your friends and family, and embark on a culinary journey that'll leave you with a full belly and a happy heart. Cheers to Pind Restaurant - where food and fun dance...

2024: recently again pind buffet is not good. They charge 700plus tax, but simply waste. Except paneer and Pani puri, none of the dishes were good. Soup was so thick with stratch smell, kebab was too sweet, chilly potato no taste, none of side dishes for roti was good including dal. Even fried rice served was too spicy with no aroma. Last dessert nothing good, only gave ice cream and one small piece Jamun, shockingly ice cream too not good. They only concentrate on alla carte I think. Waiting time for this was 40mins. Buffet Total waste.

2018: We had a office treat in pind on September 2018. Worst worst food we ever had. We were actually went one year back and felt really good but this time it's totally a mess. Nothing was good. We reserved table 30 min before arriving. But we were served only after 30 min. I think only then they started to prepare food. Paneer is signature item before but this time paneer we got were worst ever paneer. It smells bad like rotten. We complain but they still gave that worst paneer. None of the starters were good. Main cours they served pulao, no one in my team ate that. It was just worst taste. Gulab jamun they served for dessert tastes like old stock. Only item everyone had is buttermilk and Pani Puri which we can get best on road side itself. Buffet they charge 500 but nothing worth to give. Next atmosphere in pind was also not good. AC was not working well. We were sweating a lot. Felt like sitting in hot pot. We went as 20 member team and everyone were disappointed with pind. Quality of food not maintained in...
