Fb Cakes Madipakkam — Restaurant in Zone 14 Perungudi

Ordered 2+1 kg red velvet blast on 22\10\22 for delivery on 23\10\22 5pm. Searching for a zero star. Very poor & disappointing! While ordering the cake I clearly told my wishes and preference on the cake model and shape and the guy said he will make sure its prepared accordingly. However, at the time of delivery to my shock cake was prepared just ditto to the model in the catalogue. None of my instructions have been followed. Infact I asked for square\rectangle shape and they just made a round shape. I just realized none of my requests are followed on my cake requirements. When I raised the issue, the shop guy simply said SORRY! The cake was full of frost cream as in the model which I specifically requested to avoid. It tasted poor, it looked ugly. Totally waste of money. Bottom line: go there if u want to buy something from their catalogue, dont go there with specific requests on cakes. They will disappoint you for sure. Totally frustrated and disappointed! P.s. after taking the order shop guy told I have to collect my cake and they cannot home deliver where my location is just 1km from the shop. While I myself went to collect the cake I noticed there are delivery boy's avaliable who are still home delivering. So I just realized they will try their best to avoid home delivery for people who dont force. Then why the hell you advertise all over the city saying home delivery free in FB Cakes....

I have gone through a lot of reviews mentioned for FB cakes and Sweets. The review is based on my 6-7 times visit to this place.

Let me point out the cons: They take a lot of time once you order your snack/ shake. You have to literally wait for minutes counting the flies in the store. Connecting to point 1, the place isn't hygienic..maybe it is to some extent. The point the fly lands on your nose while savouring the juice makes you think about the obnoxiousness of the place. The menu and the actual bill won't be the same most of the times. The menu has to be updated or the billing software has to follow the menu. Either of these, not the midway.

I'm not going to mention any of the pros here as they have been mentioned by others.

Take away:

Not the place for one who values time. A huge no for office goers. They loot your time in preparing your order (Service time) which I feel can be reduced considerably.

Not Uber hygienic but hope the housefly or rather the storefly won't land somewhere on your savoury.

I ordered a cake and asked for home delivery. I paid the amount in full at the time of booking @madipakkam FB cakes. The delivery time was 5.30pm, i called the store atleast 10 times, he said he is on the way. It was 7pm, With all the guests waiting at home, I lost patience and asked the delivery person to wait opposite to Chennai silks, he said I will wait there. upon reaching there, he told that he went to different location and disconnected the call. I realised that there was no delivery attempt. They are just playing with customers.

pathetic service.

Many guests told that they had similar experience with FB cakes. And started ordering in other reliable stores.
