We visited Foodaholic Restaurant in Sholinganallur on a pleasant April evening with a big group of 17 college friends, and it turned out to be a super fun and delicious experience!

Ambience & Service: The place has a lively, modern vibe and is surprisingly spacious — they managed to accommodate all 17 of us comfortably. One really cool feature is the big projector screen they have for watching matches, which added to the vibe. We caught some IPL highlights while waiting for the food — great touch for sports lovers! Staff were polite and managed our big order quite efficiently, though there was a bit of a wait during peak hours.

Food Highlights: We ordered a crazy variety of dishes and almost everything hit the mark:

Italian Creamy Chicken – Rich, well-cooked, and super flavorful

Korean Crunchy Winglets – Crispy with a spicy-sweet kick

American Chicken Chopsy Noodles – Interesting fusion, crunchy and saucy

Tangdi Kebab, Butter Chicken, Kadai Chicken – Juicy, flavorful, and nicely spiced

Garlic, Butter & Cheese Naans – Soft, fresh, and loaded with flavor (cheese naan was our favorite!)

Chicken Dum Biryani & Mushroom Biryani – Aromatic and tasty, though a bit milder than expected

Foodaholic Special Chicken Fried Rice – A total winner, full of flavor

Soups (Sweet Corn & Manchow Chicken) – Warm and satisfying

Veg Curries (Paneer Butter Masala, Kaju Mushroom, Green Peas Masala) – Rich and creamy; great veg options

Starters like Paneer Tikka & Cheese Chilli Potato – Well-made and perfect for sharing

Overall Verdict: Foodaholic is a great hangout spot, especially if you're coming with a gang. Tasty food, big portions, reasonable prices, and a fun atmosphere — plus the projector screen makes it ideal for match nights. We had a blast and will definitely be coming back again!

Highly recommend if you’re around Sholinganallur and want to chill with good food...

No option to give 0 stars, so given 1 star. Today we went for a team lunch of around 30 members (already pre-booked) and their service is completely disappointed. I would advise not to go to this restaurant for any team lunch/dinner or for any of your special occasions. You will be totally disappionted and it will spoil all your mood and enjoyments. Rude behavior of hotel staff (Reddy) who answers all our query in rude manner. This is completely unacceptable. On other side waiting time for each and every food is around 30 to 40mins. If we ask this to their staff (Reddy), his reply is it will take this much time only, else go for some other hotel. I would strongly suggest to avoid this restaurant. And they took 2hrs 15mins to serve a veg fried rice for one of our friend. Another highlight is we have to buy their bottled 1ltr bottle for 30rs, where they will not serve normal water, as their servers will be busy and they cannot serve water when it's required. An ultimate reply from the staff (Reddy) is that his owner has provided only with 20 glasses for this restaurant, Due to that shortage in glass they cannot provide hot water for customers...😀. How pathetic reply is this. A request to the restaurant owner, first please provide water for your customer which is a basic rule from the govt. and customer's may opt for bottled water if required. Next buy some more glasses based on your restaurant capacity then run your business, don't give lame excuses to charge the customers for water. And finally train your staffs to how to handle the customers and not to show their rude attitude to customers. Finally please avoid this restaurant and there is multiple good options/restaurants available around...

Worst experience ever! Go to this restaurant and order your food before few hours even then it's doubtful if you will be served on time.

We ordered food by 8.30pm and waited atleast 1.5 hours for a fried rice and returned back with hungry stomach by 10pm with frustration and lot of hunger.

When we started back with frustrated and disappointment, the casier, waiter would not even have some courtesy to apologize for the mistake happened

We also noticed there were atleast 6-7 tables waiting like us for a single item in menu to serve for around 45 mins. Additionally few swiggy(5-6)delivery folks also waiting.

Looks like , this waiting time, frustration, disappointment is regular over there as we could hear swiggy folks commenting so

Just imagine , there were few families with elders also waiting for food around 50 mins. What if they were diabetic and waiting for food after taking medicines.

Don't even call yourself a restaurant if you cannot serve food for your customers on time.

Free advice from a frustrated visitor, pls don't visit this restaurant who don't care about your hungerness and only focus on money on table.

Atleast remove tables on weekends and serve limited customers if you don't have a proper chef team.

Each item is costly atleast more than 200 but wait forever to get served.
