Hola Restaurante — Restaurant in Zone 15 Sholinganallur

The #HolaRestaurante is located inside @hotel_citadines on the OMR - Opp to KUN Hyundai showroom. It is on the ground floor with neatly done interiors and some thoughtful pics coupled with lightings. The seating arrangements are dine in such a way that there is no need to struggle while sitting with ample leg space. Do note that they have ample parking space.

Why did I visit this restaurant?

I was there to taste the delicacies served under Sizzler & Seafood festival. The dishes we had were more than anyone’s imagination. There was a wide variety and we tasted all of them to the satisfaction of our taste buds & yummy!

Yes. The staffs were polite and cheerful. They served us what we wanted & I also had a chance to interact with the Chef who is from Dehradun. I couldn’t believe whether it was him who could create all those tasty delicacies.

Coming to the taste - I loved the soup. Both of them looked similar probably because they had different content but with same base. I loved the seafood combo better since crab soup was not spicy due to the presence of Ginger & Chilli. It is still ok for me because I prefer spicy soup and moreover when the climate isn’t hot(summer) & if you’re suffering from cold, this would vanish it.

Appetisers were too good to resist. I loved the fish since it was so well cooked. Equally good were the squids because I never had such a good one prior. Even if it is coked beyond the prescribed time, it becomes rubbery which isn’t the case here. It tasted so very good. Pomfret was good. I loved the tiger prawns as it was marinated quite well and was cooked to perfection. I could not cut it with the knife (surprisingly) but had it without any trouble when I used my hands to eat - I got back to the basics 🙂

Sizzlers were the highlight. We were given different Sizzlers. Each one of them tasted different. They tasted good. The proportion of rice with mix of vegetables/herbs/chicken/fish along with appropriate sauces made it too good to resist.

We had it till our jaws dropped! This isn’t the end. We also had few other stuffs which includes welcome drink(mojito), desserts & fruit juice as well.

Will the gastronomic experience be complete without the tasting session of juices & desserts?

We had Mojitos followed by juices of Pineapple, Watermelon & Orange?in the end) coupled with desserts which includes:

1. Choice of Ice Cream(Chocolate Flavour)
2. Belgium Fine Chocolate Cake
3. Choco Lava Cake &
4. Tiramisu
