I don't recommend don't waste for your money and time by booking 11pm slot It will be special moment will be like hell if you married person 100% sure you will bad fight with your parnter at day end because for following things you will face there be aware of it..... Your special moment,They don't care about it atleast ...... Ambience :- Neat and Clean and also Music will be very good... Decorative:- They are asking us to wait for 10_15mins after reaching the spot yet I have informed term the before 20mins reaching the place.Fine I understood they maybe busy or some human error. Hospitality:- They are not showing interested damm about servicing food at all orelse asking for what we need each and every time I have walk towards billing area because all the staff standing over there only chit chatting nobody coming forward towards us to take the orders also..... They made us feel like they are giving some free food and to worst part they gave bill did not even ask regarding you need desert or drink after meal this was not onlyy feeling the customer next table always were feeling very bad about service and staff behaviour. Food :- I have veg food it was really good and my friends had non veg food they said it was not cooked properly.....

One simple question to On De Roof Restaurant management:- we are paying for the decoration separately and for food seperately. Slot timing was fixed from you end only we choose from it😕 yet decoration was not done ok understood ✅ but before completing our dinner itself . You staffs off the light started removed the decoration😡 itself I can't get understand for what we are paying ? They were not staff bothered about customer service yet want close end they work. Nobody even took the cake back and packed for us 🫤 I have go and ask is't possible can you pack the cake back for us and the staff are making faces 😔 isn't right ?

Suggestion :- kindly avoid Booking slots even you don't staffs to manage and maintain special it's really very much better. That 11:30pm slot we just come there just to celebrate our special moments it's actually should be very special and your customer must be cherishing forever in Wow manner not like this manner please don't...

OVERHYPED!

Just another reminder not to go with google reviews blindly. Even if i do so, i should lookout for the main “attraction” in a restaurant.

Unfortunately, its not the food which is the main attraction here. It’s the ambience.

The open terrace and a bigger area with nicely set up tables are the main draw here. You also get personalised lit background photo hanger on request basis. The candles are not real as many had called out in the reviews.

Coming to the food: I checked with the server about the options who was very slow in recommending and taking orders. I specially wanted to order some dishes which were not spicy since i had my kid with me. He suggested 20-20Chicken and Buffalo Chicken wings. I ordered mutton rasam, Amritsari chicken, Butter chicken masala and Tandoori rotis. To my horror, 20-20 chicken was spicy which was sprinkled with burnt chillies. My kid refused to eat. The buffalo wings were not even cooked(attaching a pic of it). On complaint, the server replaced it with a cooked one. The amritsari chicken was bland and not cooked to the fullest. The mutton rasam was ok. The butter chicken was okayish and roti were good.

If you are someone who wants to have good food, please ignore this restaurant. If you are someone who is just looking for a place to spend with someone special with great open terrace ambience, you can try this place.

More servers needs to be added and their attitude needs to be improved as well.

Review on our recent visit to On De Roof restaurant:

Reservation - We had reserved 7 seats through Dineout 3 days in prior. Shockingly, just an hour before our slot, we received a call from the restaurant informing us that they were fully booked and that we might have to wait a long time if we still decided to come. This was quite unexpected and disappointing, especially since we had already paid and were on our way. After some discussion, they were able to arrange seating for us.

Service – The service experience was not up to expectations. We had to call the staff multiple times for our orders, which became quite frustrating. It seems the team could benefit from additional training to enhance customer service.

Food – The food was good and we were satisfied with the quality and taste. No complaints in this area.

Atmosphere – The ambiance was very nice and creates a wonderful setting for birthdays, anniversaries, or other celebrations.

Safety Concern – Unfortunately, during our visit, a glass roof panel fell near another group that was celebrating. For a reputed restaurant, this was quite concerning. Moreover, the staff immediately started cleaning up without addressing the guests, which was disappointing. Given the safety risks and poor service.
