SREE AKSHAYAM SWEETS N BAKERS — Restaurant in Zone 8 Anna Nagar

Had a very bitter experience today for a Sree Akshayam (sweets & bakers anna nagar branch) order through an online food delivery portal. Been a regular to Sree Akshayam sweets & bakers anna nagar (more online than offline) and never had issues yet till today. Ordered some snacks from Anna nagar branch on the online food portal today, which included their Banana Walnut Cake (had it before when it was offered in Veg with a green mark 🟢 at the branch). But today when the cake slice arrived it had a red marking 🔴 on it saying EGG only.

Was shocked to see the banana Walnut cake packing having the red mark and instantly complained it on the online food app. They instantly refunded as usual but this issue is bigger than it looks. Lost my appetite and mainly Lost the Trust in the branch and the food chain. Earlier the item used to be veg atleast in the branch when I had visited and the irony of it is that on Google the restaurant/store name says VEG ONLY.

As a customer it's misleading and confusing on whom to trust especially when it's a matter of food.

Hi all , this is review on SREE AKSHAYAM banquet hall, we celebrated our recent function for our grandparents 60th wedding anniversary here , the decoration was so repeated and the clothes used where so dirty and reused. So we decided to get the decoration done from outside.From the time we told them that we are bringing people from outside they treated us so badly and rudely . They kept calling me and saying we will remove the stage we will charge for ur damage and were speaking so unwanted things . On the day of function once the function was done immediately they tortured us to remove the backdrop and dint give us even 1hr time to do it. Such a worst decorator link akshayam is holding .very much depressed with these people and would recommend to go for outside decoration if possible as they are using same untidy and un neat clothes for each function conducted there. Name of the decoration party : Roobini Decorators Name of the person incharge for decoration: Thiyaga Selvan Will never recommend SREE AKSHAYAM party hall for anyone just because of the decoration link they hold. The hotel receptionist and Assistant manager Karuppasamy will never keep up their promise regarding booking of banquet hall.

I stepped in today to buy brownies. Its hard as a rock and tasted like mud. Tried calling the number that is reflected here it was apparently a wrong number. Other wise the place seem to be good. Its tucked in a nice corner. Akshayam and you can expect cleanliness and good service.

I am giving a one star only because it was the first time and they ruined my sunday afternoon with bad brownies

Forgot about this bad experience and walked in again. Having good food is the base line. The lady in the cash counter must have worked for TASMAC earlier. She is happy saying things are not available. Annoying'

Aug 9 2022 Orders sandwiches they gave a bill and a small printed slip which I had to give in the kitchen for getting the food. Now after 15 mts they say the sandwiches are not there. So i took the bill to ask for a refund. The guy in counter insisted I get the small piece of order slip from the counter. I said that it was his responsibility to get it and that I need the refund based on the bill. He kept arguing and I had to raise my voice to drive some reason into his skull 3rd bad...
