Crafe — Restaurant in Zone 9 Teynampet

Visited Crafe recently and honestly, it was a letdown from the moment I arrived. First off, the location is a nightmare if you’re driving—tiny road and absolutely no valet service. After finally getting in, the noise inside was unbearable due to poor acoustics. Definitely not a place for conversations.

The food is overpriced for what it is. Drinks were served in plastic glasses, which really kills the vibe, and the ingredients didn’t taste premium at all. Presentation? Very underwhelming. The wooden seating is uncomfortable and even had sharp edges—couldn’t sit properly for more than 10 minutes.

To top it off, the service was clueless. Asked the waiter what goes into their paneer burger and he just said, “I’ll check with the chef,” but never came back. I later saw him standing near the counter doing nothing. To make things worse, they enforce cashless payment — no option to pay by cash, which felt inconvenient and inconsiderate. Worst experience we had here. One of the drinks was not good and when we asked for it to the service person he spoke with us in harsh words. Only hindi people are working here and they are not even understanding what we are speaking. Kindly avoid this kind of cafe and go for a better cafe. The guy who is standing is the person who spoke with us in harsh words.

Hello owner, Thank you for your reply, I don’t know what team explained to you but it is not espresso with water , what we have ordered is ‘ Tender coconut water with espresso’ but they provided us what you said “Espresso with water” so that’s why it tastes bitter and in your menu also it is written as “Tender coconut water with espresso flavour” We drank 2 sips and We gave back and told this is not nice and please dont add this in our cheque. But he did that and He spoke some badwords in hindi. This is not acceptable. I may go to any extent if it happens once again please ask them to provide what they have given in menu.
