Babi Guling Men Janji 2 Cabang Luwus - Baturiti — Restaurant in Bali

On a mission to eat all babi guling and this place prob tops out ATM. It is kinda out of the way, thus you don't get crazy crowds, only saw locals when I was there.

Got two plates of pisah but I think this place prob is tad spicier, but all in all, they have well balanced everything. Good chili, good portion of rice, meat that is not too dry, good meat floss, good keropok, only thing is the thick crispy skin can be less fatty for more crisp. Oh the soup is so good and have some small portion of meat on it which was delicious.

We were 5 people and the owner tryed to make us pay 35k IDR for a meal that is valued to 25k IDR. We then ordered a plate of plain rice that is normally valued to 5k all over Bali and she charged us 20k for this plain rice plate ! Damn, not correct, stealing from foreigners is called discrimination ! Don't go there or ask the price before you order and a babi guling is worth 25k unless the price is displayed like in any normal place...

Delicious :) reasonably priced, served with red rice, & beef soup. More of a local restaurant than for foreigners. But I like it that way :) The Babi guling is simple, no frills with pieces of crunchy thick rind, spicy side dishes and of course the delicious crispy Babi guling. The soup has a real kick to it.
