555 Thai — Restaurant in Bali

The atmosphere was good and the service was great but the food was disappointing.

We got the chicken pad Thai but the noodles were undercooked so they weren't fully soft yet. The spicy beef salad's beef was overcooked and not spicy at all and the worst part was the prawn spring rolls.

The middle was still cold and the prawn was grey as it hadn't been cooked. They did take back the dish and take it off our bill but it still marred the experience for me.

Hopefully it was just a one time issue but I won't be back...

Ordered takeout from here, nicely presented and arrived fast. However I wish restos would learn to replace protein in a vegetarian option. Just because we choose vegetarian doesnt mean they should just serve it with a bunch of veggies. Please add tempe or tofu or something similar. The food taste was not authentic of Thai food. I really love Pad Thai, in this place the Pad Thai taste is like kwetiau chinese food. And also the pandan chickens were too oily and the dip sauce taste weird. And the most important thing: the foods are overprice.. you have to see your competitors of Thai Resto in Bali to improve your food quality. However the staff were so nice and friendly.. Love...
