Tappo Seafood Resto, Wine Bar — Restaurant in Bali

Stay clear.

This place is a disgrace. Walk in get told buy 4 beers get 5. Purchased 4 then get told sorry you needed to buy a bucket. This was never explained it was simply buy 4 get 5. Secondly service does not exist. Everytime we wanted a drink we had to go get the staff who just spent the whole time sitting at a table in the corner out front smoking. For a small bar that could have become our local it's like they just don't care about customer service.

Staying up the road at Desa Hay Resort we discovered Tappo by driving past and seeing the intimate lighting and wine bar vibes. A reservation was easy to make via what’s app (link on instagram page). The food was absolutely delicious for the price we paid. They have a great specials menu that isn’t seafood or pasta if you prefer protein based eating. Tappo also has a great selection of international wines and spirits at very reasonable pricing! The dining room is casual but the quality of the food being served is very very good! We can’t wait to...

We enjoy some pints at this place occasionally, a bar on the corner of a busy street. But I wouldn't reccomend coming here for italian cuisine. Pizza was really a disaster - the middle of it fell in while trying to pick up a slice, the dough was bitter and hard, cheese certaintly looked unpleasant. We left the whole pizza, were asked if we want to pack it for take away, but surely we said no. Anyway we paid for it, but never again we would order food here. Although pasta was okay, oversalted but still okay. The breads that come with it...
