If I could give more than five stars, I would. Sandwichopedia is hands down the best place I’ve ever eaten at in Bali—no exaggeration. It may be “just” a sandwich place, but let me tell you, there’s nothing ordinary about what they serve. Every bite is packed with flavor, freshness, and care. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had a sandwich that made me feel this happy before.
From the very first order, I was hooked. The ingredients are always incredibly fresh, and the way they combine flavors is just chef’s kiss. Whether it’s the bread, the spreads, the meats, the veggies—everything is thoughtfully chosen and prepared to perfection. It’s clear they take pride in their craft. You can taste the quality and love in every single bite.
But what truly sets Sandwichopedia apart isn’t just the food (which is already phenomenal)—it’s the people behind it. Their customer service is next-level. They’re so accommodating, kind, and genuinely care about their customers. I once had a small issue with an order (which happens at any restaurant), and not only did they correct it right away, but they went above and beyond to make sure I felt valued and cared for. That kind of service is rare and meant everything to me.
It’s that attention to detail, the consistent quality, and the warmth in how they treat people that makes me feel like I’m not just a customer—I’m part of something special. I feel seen every time I order from them, and that’s not something I can say about many places.
I will never stop ordering from Sandwichopedia. I’m obsessed. It’s become one of the small joys in my week that I always look forward to. Everyone in Bali needs to try it—whether you live here or you’re just visiting, do not sleep on this place. It’s more than just sandwiches. It’s an experience. It’s comfort. It’s love, between two slices of bread.
Thank you, Sandwichopedia, for being amazing. You’ve won a loyal...
Read moreThe food is really nice, but the music is, for me too loud, and lacked variety, the first visit it was Bruno Mars's back catalogue and the second Rihanna's, which is great if you like the artists.
The service rating is low due to a contradiction in their 50% shirtless policy on Saturday, as it is advertised on the flyer inside the cafe as starting from 10 am, but on the day this changed to 11 am as noted on the sandwich board outside.
We had made the effort to come to the shop and go shirtless to have breakfast at 10.30 am, but the change in time to 11 am meant that the breakfast menu was no longer available, and even though it is mentioned at the back of the menu that breakfast may still be served after 11 am the kitchen staff would not accommodate our request.
The staff to whom I pointed out the policy contradiction offered no solution and restated what it said on the sandwich board outside and said that for this month its starts at 11 am, yet the flyers inside still state 10 am.
We left disappointed hence this review, which is a shame as I like the cafe, but for me sometimes the little things can make a big difference and in this case in a negative capacity.
We will probably go for lunch instead to benefit from...
