Our visit to Dough Darlings was a flavor-packed adventure from start to finish. We indulged in their exquisite Passionfruit Meringue and Red Velvet Cheesecake doughnuts, each bite bursting with perfect balance of flavour and sweet.

This on-top of their top notch crafted coffee. They have a La Marzocco Linea espresso machine, a staple in top Australian cafes for a reason, extraction at its finest. Paired with their Mazzer or Victoria Arduino grinder, the coffee was a smooth, aromatic delight that complemented the doughnuts. Not sure if they've got two blends given the two grinds... Didn't see anything on the menu.

On the contrary to some reviews, price point was high to me, and I did not enjoy the donuts as much as I anticipated. Perhaps the reviews gave me very high expectation.

The donuts were not as soft nor fluffy, tasted coarse in its dough, and thus was difficult to finish. I ordered a box of 6 donuts, 3 drinks (2 coffee and 1 fruit juice) and they costs about RP 360,000.

I did not try any other donut from other shops in Bali, thus perhaps this is already better than others, but from where I’m from (Singapore), we have very good donuts franchises and shops at the same price and cheaper RS25,000 per donut for example for the full flavoured ones / donut bomb. Thus at RS30,000 to 40,000 per donut here in Bali, it’s considered exorbitant pricing, which would have been ok if the standards are on par or better.

Drinks were decent and tasted alright for coffee lovers, and pure juice lovers.
