Thank you Rayjin Teppanyaki Seminyak for giving such a pleasure experience for my anniversarry
Eka and other staff on administrator team at Whatsapp serve me very politely, i reserve my table by Whatsapp before i dine in to secure my table, i’m very recommend other people who would like to dine in at Rayjin Teppanyaki to reserve your table first due its high demand of people to go on the restaurant, i saw several people on waiting list who not get their on table yet due to they just walk in and not have reservation before go to dine in, and what i’m very appreciate is their reservation system which give us a chance to still hold our reservation when we are late by max 15 minutes, i was late and its already rush hour on my way to the place however Rayjin team still contact me politely to remind and ensure will i still come or not, gratefuly i still had my own table and the plan for whole night its saved, thanks to Whatsapp admin team who handle my reservation
When i arrive i get a well greetings, i book table indoor, their architecture is gorgeous. The ambience is very fine. Genta one of the staff that in charge very well in my table area during my anniversary dinner.
I saw Genta always smile to every customer, very great attitude
One of the male staff that i unfortunately forget who was the name, coming to us taking order very politely, their unique way to serve people was by squatting and bowing beside our table so them can hear us clearly, the staff also very aware and ask us if we have allergy or not, good SOP
The menu, the food and beverage are delightful, especially from the presentation, and kindly to inform it is affordable, i spent not as many as i expected, this restaurant is not only for foreigner, local Balinese people i believe still able to enjoy and have a great experiences at this plase due they friendly to all of the customer instead of only friendly to foreign guest
What special and unique was, they give specific treatment for guest who have special day such as anniversary like what i have by giving complimentary delicious lemon cake with cute note and special remark happy anniversary, i also saw other customer who celebrate their birthday and i guest they also get complimentary cake + complimentary surprise by the staff, just book this restaurant if you have a special day and try that experience by yourself, you will not regret it i guarantee
Last but not least, if you decide to go to this restaurant my suggestion dont forget to ask for having photo which taken by polaroid camera, one of the female staff that i also regretfully forget the name was serving us from bringing our complimentary cake after we finish all of our dish, and she was also takin a picture by polaroid also by my own phone, she took my photo with intention and didn’t do it carelessly thus rest assured your photo will be great like mine
We settle our bills on the table and Genta handle it, still with his smile
Additionally, i also would like to inform that we get a recommend menu to order by Eska one of the staff which very helpful to assist us giving clear information & recommendation and his recommendation was not fail! Great advise, thank you to Eska
Such a 👍 👍👍 experience, I’m looking forward to dine in at Rayjin Teppanyaki...
Read moreWe came here for dinner, it was pack. For 1negative review We tried to call for reservation but they didn't pick up the phone because they said they're pretty busy. I called many many many times for 2 days in a row before I came. So don't bother to call if it high season long holidays weeks like lebaran (Eid holiday) just come earlier. Not during dinner or lunch time.
But the good things, this is the best tepanyaki I've ever have in Seminyak area and maybe in Bali. The best one were beef Saikoro Steak, it was amazing with juicy, tender and delicious taste. We had 2 portions for me and my kids, each 200gram. What make the best, it's the Sauce for the Saikoro when you mix it all together. The price is reasonable price compare at Jakarta with the same taste.
For salad lover try Japanese mushrooms Salad, I'm a Mushroom lover so i like this salad plenty of mushrooms in it. It's tepanyaki Mushroom with salad taste. Recommend
The rice have to try garlic rice smell so good and tasty, it's like fried rice but not it.
Beef Yakiniku for my kid, this is good but better have saikoro steak. For dessert we had Macha creem Brule, this is new taste for me, bitter from matcha and sweet taste all mix together that's what make it good. Pork gyoza is delicouse & must try gyoza , the skin was thin so we can taste the pork more rather than the skin. Truffle mushroom pork chop, smell good and it came with salad. Pork chop it's tender & good too.
The staff so friendly and very quick for responding our requests and also they're so merry for welcoming new customer and saying goodbye.
Last this Kajin the other Japanese food you can also order from here. But we didn't have it.
Overall it's a good restaurant and recommended for all of the...
Read moreAs a lover of Japanese food, the food here ignores all the basics of Japanese food and is basically fake Japanese. Raijin isn't even supposed to be spelt that way.
Ordered Ocha (Rp 32k), which is supposed to be light but complex green tea - it came tasting like it's the fifth time they used the same leaves.
Ordered steamed rice (Rp 20k), which in Japanese cuisine (and at this price point) is supposed to be short-grain fragrant with a hint of sweetness and slight texture. None of these were in the bowl.
We also ordered the Saikoro beef (Rp 250k) and Creamy garlic beef (Rp ~110k?). Honestly nothing to shout about - the Saikoro was obviously cut from a fatty piece of meat, but it very confusingly didn't have the taste of beef (??). The grilled vegetables that came with the Saikoro were also badly undercooked (pumpkin and eggplant were just raw). We also got so tired of the creamy garlic sauce we could barely go on eating.
As for service - tried to get counter seats for 2 (they were empty) but we were told they were all reserved tonight. Those seats were empty the whole time I was there.
Tried to get the bill after the crowd settled a little and basically got ignored for like 10 minutes.
With the perfectly abundant dining scene here in Bali - I see no reason anyone should be dining here, other than the theatrics of the chefs on the main seating area. Perhaps the showmanship is supposed to distract you into thinking that the food is actually ok.. But nah - I'll happily spend my 60 bucks elsewhere.
Just reading some of the reviews here made me question if I even went to the same restaurant. Either that or them 5 star reviews have never had normal Japanese. I know I won't be...
