We ordered and paid for today 16 take away food for the staff of the estate were in as we do it mostly monthly for them and their hard work We went there 2 days ago to order the food for today Thursday to pick up at 11:30 as their lunchbreak starts at 12. We just got our food at 11:55 ( lucky I calculated some Bali time 😀 ) Anyway, as we're eating, we found the rice was still undercooked, same as the springrolls and fried bananas. Beside the waiting time and some undercooking, the taste wasn't anything to complain about Just really the under cooking should not happen, luckily the chicken was done, but their time management should improved as not just ordered on the spot, but 2 days in advance. Undercooked rice and other food should not happen, as it destroys the whole meal Taste was fine as said What was and is a bit strange for me is their taxation as they put 12,1% government tax + 10% service charge ( even for take away ) and when asked why service charge, the answer was it's for packing. I understand, so luckily they don't need to serve and doing the dishes 😀, but still strange because on all other places we go, we pay only 10+6% taxes. Don't call me cheap pls, I'm talking about government taxes should be same at every restaurant. Right ? Or maybe this place pay more...
Read moreI don't normally rate restaurants but this is bordering on assault. If I could give 0 stars I would, because this was probably the worst meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I ad ordered a pizza Margaritha, because every other dish was with meat, which is also quite bizarre, because Indonesian cuisine also cooks a lot with tofu but not even a vegetarian option was offered. We also ordered spring rolls at the table which were just completely dripping in fat (I'm just holding the spring roll and the oil flowed down my hands). The pizza was obviously from the freezer and was even not hot when I got it. I got my drink (Elder Gimblet) after I was already halfway done with my pizza. The drink was not a cocktail but just sugar syrup with a bit of gin, which turned out to be undrinkable after 2 sips. Best regards A...
Read moreThis this was the closest restaurant/bar closest to our villa and we are very happy by this. The meals are a great price, coffee is amazing, drink prices are good with happy hour prices also available. It’s very clean and well maintained. There was a mistake made with my food order and the staff continually apologised very kindly, brought me out a new meal, did not charge me for the meal and also seen the manager discussing this with the chef straight away. Great leadership and care is going into this place. The best part was, THE STAFF! All of them were so lovely, caring a spoke good English. Thank you to the whole team at Kasava for looking after me and my partner so well...
