Billed as ‘the best lamb chops in Bali’ the restaurant nor the claim disappointed!
Our first night in Bali on an annual meetup trip of friends from Australia and Vietnam, we spotted this restaurant in 2023 and pledged to eat there on our return this year.
The restaurant wasn’t overly busy for our 6pm booking time but this is certainly not a reflection of the quality of food and service. We were treated to a sumptuous feast of perfectly grilled NZ lamb chops alongside very reasonably priced cocktails and beers. The evening was rounded out with generous rounds of Ouzo and even a personal call from the owner on WhatsApp who was in Bangkok at the time.
Everything from our original email reservation (in early September), to our our dining experience and the atmosphere were completely on par. The staff went above and beyond in their service and are proud of their food’s quality and presentation.
Definitly our opening night for the 2025 trip. Please visit. This is one of my most highly...
Read moreThe best Greek food in the area but that doesn’t mean that it’s all good.
Let’s take the classic Greek salad. Can’t get that wrong? How about no olive oil, never mind that it’d need to be extra virgin, drowned in balsamic vinegar, thick rings of brown onion (the cook has an injured chopping hand?), just five olives and five small chunks of feta, two decorative tiny slivers of green capsicum, and lots of lettuce. And a balanced amount of oregano. The picture I uploaded can’t lie!
At least it’s better than any other restaurant offering a Greek salad. Even allowing for the chef’s personal interpretation/reimagining of this classic I was disappointed.
My meal was saved by the chips and feta - fantastic! Super crisp chips and loaded with feta. The chips had also been drained too so they weren’t greasy. Amount of salt was perfect.
Not often can you order a soft drink float but you can here! Great!
I’ll come here again, but not for Greek food.
Edit: a year later exactly the...
Read moreI have visited this restaurant in passed many year, every time in Seminyak. The food maintains the same, which is good, no need to think too long for ordering. The service either, only slightly warm. Tonight around 7pm, 30% full, ab. 10 waitresses, still couple times heard the loud ringing to push for sending drink/dishes. This is the first time I felt really not good in this restaurant, already felt a bit uncomfortable when I nearly finished my meal, have to took taxi back to hote in hurry because it got worse. It became better after I immediately/have to clean my stomach once I reach my room... I really hope it's my personal issue. Because this restaurant has meanings of Bali memories for me, and many people. I read the commentaries below, not that well. Please do some change, boss, if you do care the restaurant as we care of Mykonos. (Sorry, couldn't find private website of Mykonos, so leave the...
