French was never a favourite of mine, but now I can't see why. Leon Brasserie put french food on the map for me, and is one of the best hidden gems I've come across in Bali. French food, with a reputation for delicacy, complexity and richness was perfectly represented in every dish at Leon. The decor is is perfectly french - clean and suave. We begun the evening with the most impressive Sbagliato I've ever seen and the Leon Spritz is an absolute must. Being from Sydney, home to the infamous Sydney Rock oysters, we were slightly skeptical about the Javanese kind. This skepticim was very misplaced - not only were they the biggest oysters we've ever seen but absolutely delicious and served with all the fineries. This prompted us to try prawn Mary's which was the perfect french take on your Canadian clamato cousin. Bone marrow was a rather unusual choice for us, and although slightly too rich for my palette, my partner was very impressed as it was finished with a light crisp crumb. The cheese souffle sung with perfection, whilst the escargot achieved the perfect balance of parsley butter and texture. We ordered the l'onglet as the main, and would highly recommend it  At this point, we were rather full, but the creme caramel is an old favourite of my partners and given the amazing quality of everything so far, we decided we'd go all the way - again absolute perfection. Leon Brasserie is an absolute must for a romantic or business dinner, and would be in my top 3 picks for where to dine in bali. Thank you  for being you Leon, and to the fabulous team that makes the magic really happen 🥂

Leon Brasserie is hands-down one of my favourite spots in Bali! From the moment you walk in, the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere makes you feel right at home. We’ve been following this amazing team since their days at Warisan, then Metis, and now here at Leon Brasserie — and they just keep getting better! The food is absolutely outstanding — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and made with real passion. Every dish we’ve tried has been delicious, from starters to desserts. That said, I have to have the hot foie gras every single time! And the cocktails? Truly some of the best in Bali — creative, elegant, and perfectly balanced. The service is always warm and genuine. Huge thanks to the lovely team who make every visit so special: • Waitresses: Puspita & Yuli — so friendly and attentive. • Cashiers: Dea & Sindu — always smiling and helpful. • Bar team: Adi & Julya — absolute artists behind the bar. • And of course, Pak Eka and Pak Kadek Wana — wonderful leadership and hospitality. Leon Brasserie is everything you want in a Bali dining experience — elegant, relaxed, and full of heart. Can’t wait to be back again soon!

If you're in the Canggu area of Bali, LEON brasserie is an absolute must-visit and we were blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the vibe of the place was so warm and inviting. The choice of music playing in the background had a really groovy, laidback feel that perfectly matched the overall atmosphere. We immediately felt at home. But the real star of the show was the food. Every single dish we tried was a true culinary excellence. The flavors were so vibrant and perfectly balanced - it's clear the kitchen team puts an incredible amount of care and attention into their work. What really stood out, though, was the attentiveness of the staff, especially the owner Abdul. He literally checked on us every 5 minutes to make sure we were happy and comfortable. His genuine hospitality and passion for providing an exceptional dining experience was palpable. Bali is known for its incredibly warm and friendly people, and LEON brasserie is the perfect embodiment of that. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. Your tastebuds (and your heart) will thank you.

A Memorable Culinary Experience at Léon Brasserie

Léon Brasserie delivers an exceptional dining experience, blending classic French flavors with outstanding service. From the moment I arrived, the warm and elegant ambiance set the stage for a remarkable evening.

The escargots were, without a doubt, the best I have ever tasted ,perfectly cooked, richly seasoned, and a true highlight of the meal. The œufs mimosa were equally impressive, with a delicate balance of creaminess and flavor that showcased the kitchen's attention to detail.

Unfortunately, I encountered a minor setback with the oysters, as two were not as fresh as expected. However, the restaurant handled the situation with professionalism and grace. The manager promptly apologized and ensured I was not charged, which speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction.

To complement the meal, I ordered a cocktail, and it turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever had. The mixologist’s skill and creativity shone through, delivering a perfectly balanced and beautifully presented drink that elevated the entire experience.

Despite the small issue with the oysters, Léon Brasserie exceeded my expectations. The impeccable service, outstanding dishes, and extraordinary cocktails make this a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and refined French dining experience. I will definitely...

A very well presented restaurant in a beautiful location north of Seminyak. The experience begins as you arrive and welcomed by the outstanding staff. A drink at the bar prior to dinner is a must with professional bar staff who would make James Bond order the Le Spritz De Leon in place of the standard Vodka Martini (shaken, not stirred) along with a wide variety of delicious cocktails!

Off to our table and met with fresh bread and truffle butter and entree to boot kicking off our culinary adventure with Salmon Gravlax which melts in your mouth and Pate En Croute (some work needed here).

Next to our main event of seared Cod fish, mashed potato, leek fondue and crab bisque sauce which disappeared within minutes! I devoured an Australian Black Angus with all the trimmings and side of freshly steamed vegetables.

Way too full for dessert, however the soufflé looked delicious.

In the short time open and whilst being somewhat quiet in Bali during our trip, I can see no reason why you would need to book ahead of time as the number of tourists increases significantly over the coming months.

Well done to the entire team @...
