PHO HWITTA ,vietnamese and thai food — Restaurant in Bali

Not sure if we caught them on a bad day but really disappointed after reading the great reviews. We ordered two ice teas one lemongrass & ginger and one lemongrass & mint both looked amazing but unfortunately just tasted of water no flavour at all. After struggling to explain we took the easy option and ordered them again but this time hot they were amazing but we could hear the staff complaing about us making us feel really unwelcome. The 'best Gyoza in Bali' were far from it and more of a greasy soggy form of dumplings one missing part to it. The filling was bland from the small amount that was in each dumpling. My partner ordered caramilized pork which was not caramilised and more of a rushed job but after struggling for 10 minutes to explain about the tea's we didn't see there been any point trying to explain about the food. Not sure if because it was quiet the staff lost interest. For somewhere so highly recommended I wouldn't go back or recommend. If you want amazing dumplings you need to visit Warung Rakuen they are certainly up there with food...

One of my goals is to try pho everywhere I travel to. I found this place and it had a great rating. Despite the long travel and traffic from Kuta, I had to try it. Owner was very gracious and we had a nice talk. I ordered the prawn summer roll, viet ice coffee and of course pho beef. Summer roll was good. The sauce is on point. Coffee was lacking as it tasted watered down. Owner was gracious enough to hear my suggestion on how to make it better next time. I came for the pho anyway so I’m not too picky about it. The pho was a good size and it tasted great. They absolutely did it right. Was good enough that I drank the soup. If you’re craving for pho, give this place a try. It won’t disappoint. Hopefully you’ll have better Vietnamese ice...

The place is really amazing and lovely. The atmosphere is so nice because of the owner, his wife and the staff. The food was amazing. What about the price? I don’t really care because those people gave me something priceless - like an amazing evening. I will back again and again, because this is the real Indonesia, real Bali. I should say couple of words about the sounds. I’m a hypersensitive person with the sounds. But here’s very smooth and romantic Indonesian music without boom boom - just forget about your problems, just enjoy the peace.
