Tacos Aqui Umalas (Bumbak) — Restaurant in Bali

Who doesn't love Taco Tuesday or Thursday?! Especially when they are 30k !!! We came on Tuesday. Love the options this place has. Your taco can come in 4 different varieties. Corn (which is GF), flour, sweet potato or potato! We decided on corn because, yum! The tacos are soft "shell" and are about the size of a hand. The kitchen staff know what they are doing. Using herbs and spices to create the most delicious flavor combinations. Our favorite was the sate Babi followed closely by the Baja Fish. They do have vegetarian options if that's your thing. They specialize in margaritas. So many different flavors combos. But if margaritas are not your thing they do have other cocktails, juices, fizzy pops to select from. The staff were friendly and attentive. They also suggested some of their favorite flavors that didn't disappoint. It was just my hubby and me but the other patrons were made up of all different people, families, kids, grandparents, teens, singles, great place for any and all. Highly recommend Tacos Aqui.

Came back for taco Thu. Ordered the Baja Fish and Sembali(?) corn tacos. 3 tacos each. Then had room to share churrios. One order of churrios came with 5 and a coco dipping sauce. Best churrios we've ever had. Warm. Crunchy outside, soft center. So good. Was here for the love band. Gave a great vibe. Again staff were friendly, easy to get their attention as they were attentive. They also came to check we were enjoying our food and didn't need anything else....

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Tacos Aqui that truly exceeded my expectations. What stood out immediately was the incredible hospitality of both the manager and the server. They were not only friendly but also exceptionally considerate, ensuring us that they used HALAL meat and taking special care to avoid any cross-contamination in the kitchen. This level of attention to dietary needs is much appreciated.

The culinary experience began with fresh chips paired with some of the best guacamole I've ever tasted. The guacamole was fresh, creamy, and perfectly seasoned, setting a high bar for what was to come. And the main event, the tacos, did not disappoint. Each taco was a delightful mix of flavors and textures, with the ingredients tasting exceptionally fresh and the meats cooked to perfection. The combination of spices and fresh toppings in each bite made for a truly delicious experience.

Quick background: I was in a mission to find best tacos in town, tried a few different places. I think Taco Bell in Jakarta is a very indonesian kind of tacos. Would want to have a legit kind.

Here I ordered tacos with corn wrap. There is a possibily the corn wrap that made it not as good as I expected. But overall taste was just okay. I think all the essential ingredients are good, such as pico de gallo and cilantro buttttttt the chicken flavor was not strong enough.

In Bali I found a place where they made the chicken amazing but missing the perfect pico de gallo. Lol. You both need to work together yo!

Parking space is narrow. Better take motorbikes. There is a live music sometimes, they also have pool table. Staff was all nice, friendly and helpful. Place is not big, so it is easy to get crowded espcially during dinner time. You can book a table especially if you come...
