CAFFEINE Brunch Cafe, CANGGU (All day breakfast) — Restaurant in Bali

The food is okay but overpriced, you can get much better deals in Bali :(

It’s a plein air cafe which means that it’s completely open and at the road. I don’t really appreciate breathing traffic fumes and smelling unpleasant things from the outside while eating food. Also, there are a lot flies that appear in bunches once your food is served, it was quite annoying to fight for my food with them😁

Also, our order was a bit different from what we received. It wasn’t a critical mistake but it was just the last straw after which I decided to write this review.

I had certain expectations for the salmon quinoa bowl based on the photo, but the reality was quite disappointing. The picture showed a generous amount of salmon and quinoa, but what I received had only three tiny pieces of salmon, and the quinoa was just a thin top layer — barely noticeable. The entire bottom was filled with bland cabbage, which had no flavor at all.

On top of that, the cabbage had some kind of residue or film on it, which made it feel far from fresh and quite unappetizing.

One of the coolest and most chill places in Bali. If you're looking for fantastic food, great people and a magnificent atmosphere, this is your place. Amazing drinks and food. Enjoy, you will not be disappointed. For drinks, the strawberry smoothies and lemonades are fantastic. For food, the chicken pesto sandwich and the tuna bowl were amazing!!!! Also the crepes and smoothie bowls for breakfast were delicious and filling. I ate there one week straight and tried a lot on the menu and everything was delicious.
