This is actually the first restaurant in my 4 months living here in Bali I have eaten at and had to leave a review because it was so unpleasant. Typically if I dont like the food I just dont say anything but this was bad enough to note... why you might ask?!?!?
We ordered the nachos, tacos and curry soup... the chips were stale and tasted like Doritos that have been sitting out for weeks. The tacos were barbeque jackfruit but had vinegar on them?!?!? Like wth?!? The soup had hard uncooked huge chunks of carrot and no flavoring.
The best thing I had was the carrot muffins. Which are not even from there. But a bakery nearby. They just stock it
We humbly ate our food and tried to enjoy it and not call it a complete waste of money but when asked I told them it was the worst and most unpleasant food Ive eaten in Bali
I tend to be inderstanding and dont judge a bad cook or mediocre... but its just the food combining.... and quality. Overall i appreciate any restaurant thats vegan and trying to support the awareness. But this place desperately needs TLC
Those tortilla chips need to be tossed out and restocked fresh. And the tacos... to pay 70 for them is not worth it at all to not even get a side and please just ditch the vinegar or whatever youre putting on top. Its kills the taste completely. And the soup... its as easy as cutting the veggies smaller so they cook evenly and are done in a timely manner.
We waited so incredibly long to only be really let down plate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnly reason I am giving this 3 stars is because of portion size. Food was delicious but I am so tired of receiving small portions because itās vegan! I ordered the āloaded burritoā. Not so loaded. It was a slim / small petite burrito with a small pile of red cabbage for 70,000. If you name your burrito as loadedā then there should be some other things inside aside from beans & tofu⦠perhaps add some vegan cashew cream⦠maybe vegan cheese,,. Maybe even vegan sour cream, maybe jalapeƱ maybe some greens inside to give it a little crunch, maybe tomatoes⦠maybe some spicy sauce⦠the burrito was super dry and the only thing that made it was the side of harissa ⦠maybe have a side of chips and salsa or maybe a side of potatoes⦠it tasted good but seriously too small!! I was still very hungry so I ordered the Italian sandwich. Again it tasted good but too small for the price. I was still hungry after 2 dishes ( 162,000).. I then went next door to the Secret Spot and ordered a smoothie bowlā¦. will not be back until they actually make a loaded burrito as they advertise on the menu. Not to mention that this burrito is about $5USD ⦠which you can actually get a huge burrito for that same amount in the USā¦. If I am paying the same amount in Indonesia it better be big.. Iām a super skinny runner so I am not being...

I ate the burrito, smooth bowl and drank a flat white and complimentary water.
šÆ The burrito came with a delicious spicy sauce and picked cabbage.
š§ The smoothie bowl was huge! I really enjoyed the roasted dark chocolate granola.
The space is great, but definitely hipster. Sure, I like hipster but I welcome the day the world moves on from this style. Donāt you?
Still, thereās spacious seating, large full length windows and mild AC (rare in Bali). Most people seemed to want to sit upstairs, though I didnāt make it up there.
They sell t-shirts and totes bags. I didnāt obviously feel any connection to cycling, kinda odd given the name. I would have at least expected a fancy bike raised up on a wall. Maybe thatās upstairs :)
One last night. It was nice not to see anyone praying before they ate their food, or any dirty hippy vegans. Only joking, make your own life choices.
Iād definitely come back, and Iād recommend this place to...
