Disappointing I went to Suka Kopi Ubud today for a Coffee. I was hopeing to have a nice Flat White. The cups on top of the Expresso machine should have given me a clue. Lots of strange looking mugs, no proper Flat White or Cappuccino cups. The Barista said he could make Flat white but unfortunately when it showed up on my table, it was more like an instant Coffee. I took it back and showed a photo of what a FW should look like. He tried again , and when it showed up on my table, it looked visually better, but tasted the same as first coffee. I also ordered the Eggs Benedict with crispy Bacon. When it arrived, the eggs and bacon were ok, but the two big slices of white bread were stale, and even though they had been toasted, they werent great. White bread for an eggs Benedict is a No. Try and use Sour Dough or some other tastier bread, and make sure it's fresh. The waiting staff are very friendly and polite. The premises are spacious. Unfortunately the coffee is not acceptable. I tried to explain to Barista about what a FW should look and taste like. I look at reviews and I'm at a loss to see how they have a 4.8 out of 5. I was here about 6 months ago and coffee was average then. It hasn't improved. Management needs to get the Baristas on a training course immediately. A Flat White takes some skill to make. Ive had really good Flat Whites in other places. The Barista needs to know how to make a good coffee. He needs to learn what a good coffee should look like, and not present the customer with an underwhelming and visually unappealing Mug of disappointment. Get some proper Cups. Not some Grandmother's hand me down Mugs that she bought from a second hand shop. I wasn't charged for the first Mug of nothingness, I didn't taste it as it looked terrible. I was charged for the second cup of a semi disguised imposter of a drink. I hear, I'm sorry, a lot from people ,when you question the quality of food or drink. Instead of being sorry, try and perform better at what you do. I hope Management listen. I find that in cafes and restaurants, there seem to be a lot of young, under trained staff, with no experienced manager overseeing their...

Large space, homey space, beautiful space! Suitable for individual and groups with options of large tables, two people tables, and sofa with coffee tables.

The sitting area is divided in to several sections: terrace, front indoor area, courtyard, and back indoor area. All is comfortable and beautifully decorated to suit your mood and what you need. We picked the sofa in the back, close to the kitchen (literally can watch the food going from the kitchen to the tables) for we plan to chat and we didn't want to disturb other customers who were busy with their laptops on the large table in the front indoor area.

The menu offers both Indonesian and Western food, with All Day Breakfast and desserts options (banana fritter, bread with chocolate rice or cheese). Everything who passed us (from the kitchen window to the customers) looked so good. The price range is amazing, from budget friendly of 35k to fancier options of more than 100k. The portion is generous for the price. We are truly happy people with happy tummy.

The service is friendly, yet a bit slow for the staff has to cover quite a large area. Once you get their attention, they quickly respond to orders or requests.

There is a limited parking area in the front. It can fit up to 6 motorbikes. One car can also park there.

Overall, great finding...

I don’t understand why the reviews are thát high. It’s an okay price with average kitchen. I got the salmon salad and was very disappointed by it…I mean look at the first picture. I payed 55K for a bit of lettuce and some pieces of salmon?? I mentioned it directly and they sized my portion up a bit and put an extra dressing on the side. They wanted to charge me an extra 15K for that, but didn’t agree and they took it off my bill thankfully. There should’ve been a garlic butter dressing on the salad, but that wasn’t there either. Also should’ve included mixed vegetables, I think they believe a couple cherry tomatoes is that? A salad is not difficult at all, just put some more (definitely MORE) and different vegetables in it and it would already be way better! The salmon was of very good quality though! And the lettuce fresh. My friend got the gado gado, which was also just raw vegetables, not really cooked. The egg definitely over-cooked the day before. Tempeh was okay, the peanut sauce very good! Service was fine as well, don’t understand the almost five stars though. Best thing is the interior, it looks really nice and is half outside. Also, the toilet...

Imagine entering this cafe and being pleasantly surprised to discover that this entire traditional Balinese family home compound has incorporated a bakery, coffee roastery, and restaurant—all enclosed within. What an amazing experience! Open-aired, comfy seated areas, beautifully shaded, full of wonderfully historic and meaningful family items that add to the overall vibe of this place, all graciously shared with customers to enjoy. Like most of Bali these days, these amazing spots serve as a heavenly respite from the hell that is their unavoidable traffic—an inevitable phenomenon of an island with unexpandable island roads overrun by cars and trucks and scooters—the congested lifeblood of one of the most feverishly touristed locations on this planet. Their airport has a plane land every 5-10 minutes. Insane! Bali is a collection of heavenly havens amidst hellish routes of connection. Apologies for my digression. Hahaha. Back to this cafe; it’s a perfect place to chill most of the day, or get work done. Yes, power points almost everywhere! Kudos to this family. and how they have set up this wonderful haven. Good food, good drinks, and good experience.
