We had family dinner there. The place does not deserve the rate it gets on google, in my opinion. The overall impression is rather strong 4,0 (maybe 4,2 max, not 4,7

*Food: simply average good, not bad, but nothing you’d want to eat again. Especially when value for money ratio is considered. Inconsistent from dish to dish *Service: is very good, friendly and very quick, surprisingly quick (we were served by Gushi Ayu, who asked us for opinion after we finished) *Drinks/cocktails: are ok, but again average, not great *Cleanliness: the place is nice and tidy, spacious and you can tell they care about the look, we have not seen the toilets.

Food was average. Not in a bad way, but simply we have had better. The place is touristic, one acceptable place probably in the village, so not everything is perfect. Everyone, but our daughter agreed it was ok, but not special. I had Champignon soup, which was with no character, with really hard boiled egg, probably the weakest of all dish. For second I took Red Snapper which was was good. The fish itself was nicely blackened. The rest of dish, again nothing to remember. My wife went for Tom Yam Gong soup, wich was only ok, but not spicy enough. Too mild for such dish, even tourist spicy does not pass. My son had calamari wich he described as decent, but nothing special. He’s eaten lots of this type calamari in his life, so I’d trust him. He also tried pork ribs, which were tender and quite good to him. Finally my daughter took the Australian beef steak, which was the strongest dish for sure of all. Most expensive as well. Quality of meat was very nice and the sauce was tasty. The look was much worse than the taste (meat covered with thick sauce). She really liked it and disagrees with others’ opinion about overall impression of the place. She liked it. Drinks are decent. The mojito and Long Island drinks were again ok. Service is a positive part. Lady seemed to be naturally friendly and happy to help. It was really quick. We were surprised to get the starters so fast, together with daughter’s steak which could take longer. We requested her main with our starter. Nothing to complain. Super quick.

The place is nice and has nice views on rice field and jungle. Definitely strong side. Look, to summarize. I try to avoid criticism in my reviews, but it felt like little massive product for tourists. Theoretically nothing was really wrong, but at the same time nothing there I’d like to...

On Monday, 6th January 2025, late afternoon, we dined at Tebasari Resto, Bar & Lounge. The restaurant was half-empty and not busy, but unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the poor attitude of a waitress wearing glasses.

We ordered five dishes and drinks, and the plates were quite heavy. When the waitress served the first plate, she pushed it towards my young daughter, who was already holding it. Instead of placing the next plate on the table, she pushed it again towards my daughter, forcing me to step in to assist with placing the plates on the table and receiving the others from her.

Despite our efforts to help clear space on the table for the dishes, her dismissive and rude behaviour left us frustrated and uncomfortable. When we requested sharing bowls, she deliberately ignored the request, leaving us waiting for over 10 minutes while she stood nearby doing nothing. We eventually had to ask another waiter, who promptly brought the bowls.

What made the experience worse was that we truly felt she treated us differently compared to other customers, making us feel discriminated against. Her unprofessional, dismissive, and seemingly racist attitude completely ruined what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

Very disappointing and not a place I...

Nestled in a serene setting with a beautiful water pond feature, Tebasari Resto offers a refined yet affordable dining experience in Bali. The ambiance is relaxed, with outside elements, elegant bamboo decor, and the tranquil sound of water adding to the peaceful atmosphere. We started with the Gado-Gado, a classic Indonesian salad served with a rich peanut sauce—fresh, well-balanced, and bursting with flavor. For mains, we had the Bebek Tebasari (fried duck) and Ayam Panggang (grilled chicken). The duck was crispy on the outside yet tender inside, perfectly seasoned, and served with traditional sides. The grilled chicken was juicy and flavorful, with a subtle smokiness that complemented the spices. To drink, we kept it simple with water, beer, and a cocktail. The cocktail was well-mixed and refreshing, a great pairing with the meal. The service was excellent. Our main waiter, Yoga, was exceptionally friendly and professional, ensuring we had everything we needed. The other staff members were equally attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall: A fantastic spot for those looking for an elegant yet relaxed dining experience in Bali. Great food, reasonable prices for the quality, and top-notch service. Would definitely recommend!
