A two storey friend chicken restaurant. Been visiting it since the 90s. My late father (Al Fatihah for him) often took the whole family here. He studied in Bandung in the 60s. In the 90s, this place used to be cramped and gloomy, now it's getting better, cleaner, and well lit.
Taste wise: well marinated fried chicken. Imho the taste hasn't changed a bit. The sambal is not really spicy. Jeruk hangat was refreshing. Service was fast. I almost always have a to-go portion too so I can eat at home.
Inputs: I hope owner will create separate toilet for men & women (not a unisex one) and maintain its cleanliness. Also please make the musholla upstairs more comfortable.

The Sayur Asem (vegetables in tamarind soup) was not my favorite, yet it come with bigger portion but seem out of my expectation because it dominated with snake beans, which I don't really like. A friendly reminder, because they cook only free-range chicken, portion can be a bit small for some people.
Ambiance was good, no proper parking area but you can park in the side of the road and since it is located a bit narrow in housing area, so it is still acceptable. I recommend for the original chicken, while the rest? Just not my kind of taste. Visit again next some time?...
