This Indonesian restaurant delivers a visually captivating and culturally rich dining experience. The dishes are beautifully plated with attention to detail and traditional elements. We tried corn Fritters with Herbs: Crisp, golden, and generously topped with aromatic herbs and vegetables. Served over crunchy vermicelli, this starter was both vibrant and flavorful. Grilled Chicken Skewers; Tender meat skewers with a light char, accompanied by fresh chili slices—simple yet deeply satisfying, letting the marinated flavor shine. Black Squid Rice and Grilled Set: A standout, the black rice log offered a unique texture, complemented by grilled meats, sautéed vegetables, and sambal. The presentation was traditional yet polished. Bamboo-Cooked Rice Dish; Served dramatically in a bamboo tube, it adds a rustic charm. Combined with smoky grilled chicken and spicy condiments, this was a highlight. Overall, a well-executed showcase of Indonesian cuisine, perfect for those seeking both flavor and cultural authenticity. Worth a visit for locals and...
Read moreNever been to this resto before but as I see someone posting on Instagram, I just feel like to try. As managed by Ny. Liem I think that is the first guarantee of something tasty. The first impression.. The place is good with ethnical interior. I came around 11 am which is not a lunch hour and some waitress are standing waiting for us to make our entrance. Then I choose a table for 4 people as we were 3 with my mother. It took several several minutes until I get the menu list. Why it took so long to just giving e menu? Then I see something very surprising as the menu is shaby, old, torn and dirty. What.. A good restaurant with such a menu book? Then the second surprise, the waiters ask us to swap the table as it was already reserved. Why didnt they put some sign and why they let us take the table before. But well, the taste for the food is quite good. Big portion and nice presentation.. As a person who like to do detailing, of course the first impression for me is the most important. So.. Please change...
Read more1st time trying dishes here.. it was recomended by friend of my mom.
From the appearance and interior design i rate 5 star because it is so cool with etchnic modern style.
I recommend ayam garam, gurame jimbaran and rujak pengantin, kinda dissapointed with nasi merah that i ordered, it is too mushy and the sambal from ayam garam did not help much (but sambal from ayam garam is very hot and tasty, i love it)
They have good service and ambience
But!! It is a little bit pricey hahaha
If you want to bring your kids better eat at 2nd floor but be careful with stairs
I think this restaurant baby friendly enough they have high chair and non smoking area. You also can order ayam garam for your kids because its so tender and tasty
They also have a bakery and pattesiere and coffee menu here and i heard some trivia that the owner of this place is the grandchildren of the famous ny. Liem
So... Place ☆☆☆☆☆ Food ☆☆☆☆ Service ☆☆☆☆ Baby friendly...
