Justus Steak House • PVJ — Restaurant in Bandung City

Looking for a Steakhouse in Bandung and after reading some reviews decided to give it a try. Steakhouse??? I would say is more of a fast food steak place than a steak house. The food came too fast which is always worrying as it takes time to cook quality food and not what you expect at a restaurant but more of a fast food place. The sauces were tasteless, I have tried better ones from a jar, the Rib Eye, Tenderloin and Lamb Chops were so thin that they were ruin even before they were cooked, the rest of the food was very bland, have you heard of seasoning?? Hellooo!!!. The funny thing is that most tasty thing we had was the accompanying salad! No mustard in a steakhouse??? Come on, that says it all! Their beef gordon bleu...it was so small it look like a starter and you need magnifying glasses to find the melting cheese! Our Carribean Platter was such a great deal. Served for five persons, the portion was huge it could actually be enjoyed by six or seven persons. The platter consists of calamari, fried dori, prawns, grilled chicken with Korean barbeque sauce, rice, and french fries. We liked the calamari and the grilled chicken. We visited this restaurant because my son misses Western food. This restaurant separates the smoking and non-smoking area effectively. Coming from the US our standard for western food is pretty high. However, the food doesn't disappoint. We got pasta dishes and Japanese inspired dishes, and we were satisfied. The service is awesome. My daughter accidentally dropped her fork and upon hearing something fell the waiter immediately brought her a new one. I just wish the space was bigger and the seats are more comfortable. Recommended if you're looking for western food...
