A Scorching Disappointment of Starbucks PVJ Outdoor

This used to be my go-to spot for a relaxing and productive day out. The outdoor area was an oasis of calm and comfort, perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done.

However, everything changed for the worse when they decided to cut down the trees and remove the creeping plants that adorned the glass roof. What was once a cool and inviting space is now a sweltering sauna, especially during the day.

Here's a breakdown of the current situation:

Unbearable Heat: The removal of the trees and plants means there's absolutely no shade. The glass roof traps heat, making the outdoor area unbearably hot and stuffy.

Deserted Space: It's no surprise that the outdoor area is now practically deserted during the day. No one wants to bake under the scorching sun while trying to enjoy their coffee.

Service & Food Remain Unchanged: The service is still decent, although they do occasionally miss specific details in orders. The food remains decent as well.

It's incredibly disappointing to see such a drastic change to what was once a fantastic space. The lack of shade has completely ruined the outdoor ambiance. I hope Starbucks PVJ reconsiders this change and finds a way to bring back the much-needed shade and greenery. Until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere, at least during the...

Just strolling around Bandung and finally found a great Starbucks again here. It’s comfy enough but if you want to seek a cozy place to work from café or to seek solitude, I would not recommend this place, especially on weekend since it’s in a mall so I think it’s only good for hang out with friends or family.

The manual brew here is great and the bean’s choice are quite varies. I ordered a manual brew with Colombia Reserve beans and the barista was very polite and interactive while he brewed my coffee in front of me. Such a great experience even after he finished brewing my coffee he immediately rushed to the bar since it was peak hour I guess. I would like to come here again someday to order a manual brew coffee and have a great talk with them.

P.S.: You should put away your own cups, straws or napkins into the trash bin, please- especially in peak hour- to make the other visitors comfortable. It is indeed the baristas duty but if we can clean it by...

Starbucks is always about good coffee. One of the most comfortable starbucks booths that is always hype, is this place, Starbucks at Paris Van Java Mall. It is located in PVJ Mall, at Jalan Sukajadi, the center of the city of Bandung itself. Baristas are friendly, but they need to improve their cleanliness in serving the beverages.
