Hello there ! Last night my brother and I took our 83-year old mom to this restaurant. My Mom wanted to eat satay but refused to go to traditional Indonesian satay vendors. So we went to this place - Sate Khas Senayan at Paris Van Java Mall in Bandung. I must say that the outing was rather disappointing because :
1.The prices of the food in this restaurant in exorbitant. There were 6 of us, and the bill came to Rp 664.700 in total, while the amount of food that we ordered came in tiny portions and looked inadequate , compared to the total bill that we must paid. My husband and my mom shared a dish, a 10-piece lamb satay. I myself ordered just a 5-piece chicken satay. The satay orders were accompanied by three portions of ricecakes. My brother and my sister-in-law ordered the following items : Mixed lamb satay and lontong cap gomeh. A small bottle of mineral water costs 4 times from what it costs outside the restaurant. I bag of "kerupuk" costs Rp 39.000! 1 portion of the rice cake is tiny and very sparsely distributed on the plate. So, when the bill came to Rp 664.700 , it was not satisfctory at all. Not satisfactory at all.
Is that why the restaurant was empty when we came ? we came at about 19:00 / 7 PM. I wonder if that was the last time I will ever bring a group to that place, or even to choose that...
Read moreService was out of place (29th of March 2024, 13:40 WIB). The lack of cook, waiter/waitress and cashier, really took the toll on the service. Food was not delivered until a whole hour of sitting down and waiting. Almost half of the main menu of sate khas senayan was not available (noting the ones i tried to order are fried duck, fried chicken, tempe, meat satay, and gurame). One of my ordered food was cancelled by the cook saying that I cancelled it on my own. Food was also way too salty (I reckon that the cook didn't taste the food before hand, it was a soup). Cashier also made a lot of mistake on inputing the foods that I ordered (by inputting foods that i didn't order). I can see a lot of tables that aren't cleaned as soon as the customer leave, making other customer to wait for the table to be cleaned (About 5 minutes because I had to wait as well). Overall this shouldn't have been a problem for a restaurant as famous as sate...
Read moreDi tanggal 16 maret 2025 saya mau berbuka puasa dengan keluarga, saat pertama masuk terlihat tempat duduk beberapa kosong dan ada beberapa yang bertuliskan reservasi dikarenakan dadakan dan sudah waktunya berbuka saya mutuskan makan langsung tanpa reservasi dikarenakan banyak tempat duduk kosong yang tanpa bertuliskan reservasi, saat masuk saya kebingungan dan bertanya untuk cara pemesanan seperti apa , dan waitres menyuruh saya "duduk terlebih dahulu lalu nanti ada waiters lagi yang datang untuk order" Menunggu cukup lama Tanpa memberikan buku menu dan tidak ada waiters yang datang dan posisi kebingungan di posisi perut lapar memikirkan keluarga saya yang belom makan cukup memberi kesan buruk, ditambah waiters/pegawai yang terlihat sibuk sendiri tanpa memperdulikan ada konsumen yang kebingungan, yang terlintas dipikiran dan mata saya apa yang mereka sibukan sedangkan meja banyak yang kosong , beberapa ada yang mengobrol di depan tanpa memperdulikan ada konsumen yang ingin order cukup membuat saya tertawa di dalam hati pertama kali nya flow/manajemen restoran sekacau ini tanpa pikir panjang setelah saya melihat keadaan sekitar dan karyawan yang tidak perduli ada konsumen kebingungan saya keluar dengan perasaan kesal dan mungkin tidak akan coba coba lagi untuk datang ke tempat seperti ini , dan saya coba ke restoran lain di PVJ yang justru lebih ramai malah mendapatkan pelayanan yang ramah dan membuat hati saya yang kesal mereda, mungkin pesan untuk manajemen restoran bisa di briefing kembali flow/pelayanan kalian seperti apa dan lebih peka terhadap kostomer yang sudah ada di depan mata"lihat kekosongan bangku seperti di foto tapi waiters sibuk gatau apa yang...
