Personal experience, and first time being so disappointed that I would consider never going back. Talk about the menu, ordered 2 different type of pasta and 2 type of drinks, the drinks was just okay, a typical lychee tea and hot chocolate so what could go wrong. On the other hand, the pasta was just so overpriced with how small the portion, it was just the plate that is so ginormous.
Let’s talk about the service, there is a normal number of waiter and waitress, idk about the kitchen but the food comes one at a very long time. The first food come after 20 until 25 minutes of ordering, the second one comes 15 minutes after. So waited for 40 minutes just for the pasta, even my drinks come after the food was served 🤷🏻♀️ And the worse thing, they forgot about the utensils, I have to grab it myself 🤦🏻
I come at lunch time, they should have prepared when it gets crowded especially when you’re with a some type of airbnb merge. Lastly, the parking lot, where is the parking service?? I can’t even get my vehicle out of the parking lot.
Paid the service 17k...
Read moreJust a tiny suggestion: if you're not sure whether something on the menu is available, maybe double-check within 5 to 10 minutes? At the very least, by the time my drink arrives, it would be great to know if I’m getting what I ordered or if I need to swap it for something else. Not 45 minutes later when I’ve already finished half my drink. Also, a bit of focus would be nice. When you take my order, maybe input it first before deciding to clean 10 tables? I waited ages because apparently, my order came second to cleaning every table in existence.
We came here for the classic tiramisu, but didn’t get to try it, which is totally fine, we understand that it's super popular right now. Since the classic tiramisu was sold out (after waiting for it for around 45 minutes with no confirmation, lol), we swapped it for the Earl Grey tiramisu. It's good! We’ll definitely be back for the classic one, though. Hopefully, by then, you’ll have improved the...
Read moreI brought my son here to try out the food. The place is really nice and quirky with seating inside, outside on wooden benches or outside on a narrow terrace. We chose Honey Mustard Chicken and Dori Jimbaran (dori fish with sambal matah sambal), a hot chocolate and an iced lychee tea. Both food dishes were amazing, super delicious and I wished the Dori Jimbaran was larger. The hot chocolate was very small and I think better if use more milk and add sugar. The service was excellent and the staff spoke English and was friendly and helpful. There is a selection of Indonesian foods on display although we didn't try these. The House Tour Hotel is joined with the canteen and they have 9 beautiful rooms, so I might recommend my friends to stay here especially because the food is so good. Hope to come back here again to try some of the...
