I was arrived early at 10 o'clock and confirmed my booking first. Because I am an ACCOR member, I can check-in at the priority desk. Thank you, Mrs. Dillah, my rooms were upgraded from Deluxe to Executive with free mini bar because I was needed 2 connecting rooms. After confirming the room numbers, I took a stroll around the Gedung Sate area. Back to Pullman for check-in at 1.45 with Bu Feby and the rooms were ready. When arrived at the front of the lobby, the male porters were not alert, to the extent that Neng the concierge helped to carried the suitcases. The 2-floor basements parking are very spacious. Friendly basement concierge. The elevator to the room must use a room card. Both rooms are spacious with different furnitures. 1 twin, 1 double. In each room there are 6 glass- bottles of mineral water, 4 cans of soft drink, coffee maker with tea, coffee, white sugar, brown sugar, cream, 12 glasses and complete amenities. Both rooms were clean and comfy with beautiful mountain, city and greenery views as I requested. My luggages arrived fast. We also got cute delicious christmas cookies as welcome cookies.
The room design is quite unique with two sliding doors to access the shower, walking closet and powder room. But the light in powder room was too dim. The hot water ran smoothly. The gym is quite spacious. Unfortunately, the swimming pool is too small and windy. Teens club didn't open during my stay on 25-26 December 2022. The kids club is great. Gastro Market is very spacious with great design and lighting, but unfortunately was so quiet with no one came except my family at 3 p.m. Rose Garden was so-so, not too big. I hope Pullman Bandung will have more sport facilities like basketball court, table tennis or bilyard and more green spaces like gardens and jogging track, despite that it is located just across the public jogging track. Breakfast time was so-so just like any 5-stars hotel. The pastries and fried kwetiaw were delicious. I think Pullman still need to compare their breakfast with Sheraton for its freshness and various of menu and to Lido MNC or Novotel Bogor to their unique menu. Thankfully I am an early breakfast person, so I didn't have to be in the waiting list crowded queue at 8 a.m. Welcome drink at Sadrasa Bar was memorable. We chose mocktail and cocktail, those were very fresh. The ambience also nice. As for staffs' hospitality, Pullman Bandung needs to take Sheraton Bandung as an example, which I gave Sheraton 10/10. Definetely will be back to Pullman when we need to stay in Bandung City Centre. Read moreIt was really unpleasant experienced staying at Pullman Bandung, luckly one night only. Let me share my experience. I will start with the positive things : Yes the hotel is luxurious, the room is modern, nice ,clean and decent space with the complete amenities as well. The best thing Pullman has is the staffs, they are very proffesional, friendly and helpful ( thanks to Mr. Renaldi) But the downside are : The sleep experience was nightmare ( I was at 6fl), the street noise is unbearable, because the hotel is located in central and busy area. The thing is the room is not equiped with soundproof system/insulated window. Literally like it was sleeping in the sidewalk. I could not slept and neither my mother (76 yo) who was the reason why I booked the hotel just to ensure she wasn't too tired before travel back to Jkt. I asked to move to other room and willing to pay additional cost if necessary, unfortunetly according ibu Febi the hotel was fully booked and only 1 room left (king size) which it wasn't as bed type i needed and she offered me the airplug, but I refused because it won't help at all. At 12.30 I call reception (w/my mobile phone - the room phone didn't work)and decided to check out because there was no point kept staying in the hotel but we couldn't sleep. Mr Renaldi responsed my call, he tried so hard to solve the situation by bringing the technician to reduce the noise and offering me the other room in 10th floor, set up king size to twin bed, by 1 am in the morning my mother and I moved to that room. I also think I stayed at the wrong time, the hotel was full booked and there were 2 wedding events. The hotel is not ready and anticipate to manage massive guests, the breakfast arrangement was chaos, the waiting list were long although the restaurant staff tried hard to manage. For the 5 star hotel, Pullman Bandung need to improve and anticipate this thing such as arrange different time group for breakfast or open some area (other resto if available) to serve the breakfast. I had this experienced in the other hotels due to massive guests or during pandemic due to social distancing whis was running very smooth and convinience for guests.
So in general my staying in Pullman was the worse experience that I've never had in other 5 star even compare to 4 star hotels. I also just realised that the horrible noise complaints has been raised by other guests previously ( I saw in the review), but I think the hotel management is not take it seriously. The location is perfect. It is located in the central of bandung. Gasibu is just across the hotel, in case if you want to have a morning jog or just enjoying Bandung ambience. Jalan Gempol is just about 800m by walk. And other hot spots in town could be reached in walking distance. It is great, considering that parking is very difficult in Bandung and there is a lot of traffic jam.
The check in was very smooth. It is a bit long because it was a long holiday and there is no sign for queue. But the concierge handled me very well and friendly, and responsive towards our needs.
The room was great. It was spacious enough. The layout is fantastic as well. The placement of sofa, working desk, and round table are just prefect. The room is just around 30sqm yet it felt spacious because the layout decoration.
Everything at the room is just perfect: pillow, sheets, bed, lighting, ambience— top notch! (Is it a new hotel?)
Also the bathroom is great. It is quite small but the layout and design makes it feel enough. I just love it!!! The amenities are good, too. And i dont know if it’s just me, but i think they use different shampoo and body soap to other pullman because this one felt better compared to other pullman.
The hotel facilities are quite a few, but thats fine. The pool is smaller than i expected. But the changing room is amazing and spacious (ehem, pullman ciawi… you should learn from pullman bandung). There is kids club, it is spacious but i dont think they have enough toys for kids. The gym is amazing!!! The equipments are great. There is wall climbing for kids too. Protip: use the gym at early in the morning since it will get crowded during the day because of the wall climbing.
They gave me complimentary cake and wishes for my birthday!!!! Ah so sweet! Thank you so much, miss tami, miss feby, miss nafa! And also miss fani, miss sania, and mr gunawan. You are truly the best!!!!

Staffs are amazing as well.
The only concern is the drop off at the lobby, it is not enough space especially if there is high traffic. But that is manageable and understandable since i stayed there during a holiday. And the other thing is: the drop off lobby smells weird.
Overall i really enjoy my stay here. It was amazing for my family and I. Really recommend it to everyone who wants to stay in central bandung! There is nothing...
