Overall is not as good as mention in google review. From arrival, difficult to find parking till we helped by security to park our car and we have to pay vallet Rp. 15.000. Despite many constumer has raised this issue in the review, the management only can sent guest response template and no action taken till now. For your first time, be ready for this first dissapointment. For first timer it is confusing. You have to register on arrival to get access into the kitchen then you will get assigned table number. You feel like begging just to get into and having a meal.
After your call, no one xplain you of how is the procedure of taking and select the food, causing some unorganized queue in the kitchen. You may see some people rush each other to take their food😅. Take my advice, whatever you put to your plate, maximize to take it because even you just take a little, they will charge you 1 portion price😅.
The place is too small, little space, smokey and uncomfortable. Some dining table also quite close to toilet cause disqusting environment and loosing your appetite.
Compare to other traditional sundanese restaurant in Jakarta, this place is too complicated and not organized. I am thinking this place is busy just because of the temporary hype. For the first time and one time experience it is fine but we will not come...
Read moreStraight to the point, I went to the restaurant craving salted fish, Sayur Asem, and Sambal. So, I headed to Rumah Makan Pesona Kampung Sunda.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with an extraordinary buffet of Sundanese specialties. OMG THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!🥹😭 Additionally, the restaurant's decor seamlessly integrates with the kitchen. There's a wood stove, and the roof decoration is truly traditional. Honestly, it felt like going back to the 90s, remembering when my Oma used to cook with a wood stove🫶🏼. The music inside the restaurant is truly Sundanese, soothing to the ears, making the dining experience comfortable. PERFECT!✨💖
As for the food, it's a winner! The best. This is the best Sundanese restaurant I've ever visited. The sambals, a champion. No debate! The vegetable side a.k.a Lalapan dishes are complete! Sayur Asem tolooooong enak banget. The best AAAAAAAAAA! I hope this restaurant opens branches in other cities in Indonesia🇮🇩
☕️ Warm plain tea with free refills. 🙋♀️🙋♂️ The staff is friendly and very helpful. 🚽 The toilets are clean. 🤲🏽 There's a prayer room.
💯 Overall, the restaurant's ambiance is very soothing and comfortable.
💰 As for the price, I think it's worth it for the taste served. Truly not disappointed.
Will definitely come back...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting this place (June 2025). I really like this place, this place is suitable for people who like Sundanese food (sweet and spicy). First you have to order the food (take what you want to eat / prasmanan) then pay the food you picked and after that, the waitress will guide you to your table. This place is soo crowded during lunch time. The best time to visit i recommend is around 11:30 AM to secure your seat. When i visited here, it was on Sunday where The parking spot is nearly impossible to get since this place is close to regular Sunday’s market event. I think it would be better if you plan to visit this place outside Sunday. There are also a snack market inside where you can have Traditional snack such as Bubur ketan hitam, bubur kacang hijau, bubur sum sum and so on. I tried them and it was nice with the price just 17000 IDR. For the main course price, i think it was quite expensive for me where i spent around 180k IDR for 3 people. But the taste was quite nice.
Another thing to mention that they have a clean toilet and mushola. Their mushola is quite spacy so that it can hold up around 10 people. Overall, you should visit this place at least once when you have a plan to visit Bandung, especially if you like...
