I am a Palestinian person and I come from the heart of Palestine and I know how to cook and what Palestinian food is like. The meals in this restaurant have nothing to do with Palestinian, Arab, or even Middle Eastern food.
We ordered maqluba with chicken and meat shawarma with hummus.
The maqluba dish has nothing to do with the Palestinian maqluba. There are no eggplants, tomatoes, onions or garlic in the dish. It lacks a lot of ingredients and lacks spices, plus the rice is very old.
It is one of the worst shawarma I have ever eaten in my life. It has a bad taste, is very tough, and has no spices. It seems to be several days old. The seller told us that the sauce that comes with the shawarma is tahini. I want to add that it has nothing to do with tahini, it is just mayonnaise with garlic.
The taste of Hummus is not like Hummus, it tastes acidic, there is no tahini on it, it seems to be very old.

Rumah ini menjual makanan dan minuman khas Palestina dan Timur Tengah. Untuk saya yang memiliki lidah Sunda-Jawa rasa makanan di sini cocok, tetapi tergolong unik karena baru pertama kali mencoba makan makanan khas Palestina. Menurut saya, untuk teman-teman yang memiliki lidah Sunda-Jawa seperti saya, perlu sedikit menyesuaikan di awal mencoba makanan khas Timur Tengah yang tergolong kaya rempah.
Menu yang saya suka dan katanya asli dari Palestina ada Nasi Maqlubah. Chefnya sempat menjelaskan sejarah Nasi Maqlubah dan bersedia menjawab pertanyaan lain pengunjung yang datang dengan sabar serta sangat ramah.
Soal harga tergolong murah dan porsi sangat mengenyangkan. Tempatnya masih kecil, tapi bersih, ditambah dekat dengan tempat untuk mencuci tangan, tersedia juga tempat sampah. Dinding dihiasi foto-foto bersejarah yang membuat saya pun terenyuh.
Maaf foto kurang bagus karena sudah lapar dan senang dengan wangi masakannya. Setelah mencoba makanan dan minumannya, saya jadi ingin makan di sini lagi, dan ingin mencoba menu lainnya. Tapi waktu itu sudah sore dan beberapa menu sudah habis.
