Batam’s Hidden Vegetarian Gem. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a high-quality vegetarian restaurant and café in Batam. Botanic Coffee offers not only a cozy and relaxing environment but also delicious plant-based food that’s thoughtfully prepared (it is vegetarian, but fully plant-based) I ordered the Nasi Bakar Botanic and Orange Tofu Nuggets, both of which were flavorful and satisfying. The Nasi Bakar had a nice smoky aroma and came with a generous portion of sides. The tofu nuggets were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a tangy orange glaze that worked really well. To drink, I had their ABC juice (Apple, Beetroot, Carrot) – rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. It’s refreshing to see a place that pays attention to both taste and health. Highly recommend this spot for vegetarians and anyone looking to try something wholesome and tasty in Batam. Will definitely be back!

i am a meat eater and generally do not prefer vegetarian/vegan food but the food here is to die for. came here twice on my trip to batam and tried a few dishes. all of them were tasty, not one that i wouldn’t order again. portions were average sized and very filling. my friends and i (3pax) ordered: 3 mains, 1 side, and 3 drinks, 2 dessert, and paid ard 330k IDR. it can probably last you a whole day. would definitely want to come back again. on both visits, taste was very consistent as well staff is friendly and welcoming as well. the place is rather spacious but overall atmosphere isn’t very special to me, looks like another generic cafe. if i had to pick a few dishes to recommend: for pastas: basil banana leaf: sambal (spicy - just the right amount), or botanic (not spicy) noodles: botanic sides: fries
