Food is alright but is quite salty. Went on a Sunday late afternoon around 2pm & there wasn’t much crowd. Waiting time for food is very very very bad. We waited half an hour & food is not serve yet. I could see dishes out at the place waiting for server to bring to the table but it was left there for at least 5 minutes... They have a lot of staffs but all very slacking or lazy. They have at least 5 staffs at the sushi area. Server staffs with manager at least 5-6 person. Tables are not cleaned when we came in. The server staffs then quickly clear it. And other uncleared tables were just left there for about 15 mins until the trainee staff came to clean. Then I saw 3 server staffs chit chatting at the place waiting for food to come out. They could have clean the tables for goodness sake.. For sure I won’t recommend this place to anyone. Oh and we take away the other food we ordered cause we don’t want to wait...

I wanted to give this place a full five stars but I couldn't do it due to slow service. There are two Sushi Tei establishments in Batam, this independent house and the one literally just across the street inside grand Batam mall. Both have been constantly understaffed since the pandemic began. Employees look tired and some have to cover multiple jobs. Customers are queuing during meal time waiting for the tables to be cleaned and to make things worse online delivery orders keep piling up with gojek drivers all waiting in the same room as dine in customers. Once you are seated then prepare for the long wait for them to take your orders. These 2 establishments need to be audited by the central office in Jakarta. Looks to me there is a serious organization issue with the staffing (or lack thereof) Positive thing is quality of the food that is right on par with Jakarta. Still excellent taste with careful...
